In anticipation of his upcoming album Herbert, Ab-Soul recently visited Sway In The Morning to do a freestyle over Kendrick Lamar's hit song "Die Hard". Check out the full freestyle below.

"Die Hard" was released as the third single from Kendrick's Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers on rhythmic contemporary radio, produced by Sounwave, DJ Dahi and Baby Keem with co-production from FnZ.

Kendrick Lamar is one of the world's most acclaimed rappers. He stands as a model citizen and has endured much in his life.

He was born in Compton, California and has a unique way of telling tales through music. His songs are poignant and have inspired many people.

His music has inspired both young and old alike, earning him numerous accolades such as the Grammy Award and Pulitzer Prize.

He is an accomplished rapper whose lyrics reflect his views on society and life. Additionally, he holds high moral standards and has served as a great role model for many.

On June 17, 1987 in Compton, California, Kendrick Lamar was born to parents who moved from Chicago to escape gang culture. His father had been part of the notorious Gangster Disciples gang.

Kendrick Lamar Duckworth was born on June 17, 1987 in Compton, California into a difficult environment but managed to remain thoughtful and soft-spoken throughout it all. As a child he wrote his first stories and poems but it wasn't until later in life that he found his voice through rapping.

After releasing multiple mixtapes, Lamar gained notoriety among hip-hop fans. He signed with Dre's record label and released his debut album good kid, m.A.A.D City in 2012.

This record was met with critical acclaim and commercial success, being followed by To Pimp a Butterfly in 2015 and Damn in 2017. The latter earned 17 Grammy Award nominations, winning five of them.
