Best known for his portrayal of adman Paul Kinsey on Mad Men, Michael began his career in the New York theater and has also played a wide range of multifaceted characters in film and television. Most recently Gladis starred in Penny Dreadful: City of Angels for John Logan and Showtime. Previous to that he starred as Patrick "The Tooth Fairy" Woichik on the AMC drama Feed The Beast alongside David Schwimmer and Jim Sturgess. He starred opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, and J.K. Simmons in Paramount's blockbuster Terminator Genisys for director Alan Taylor. Gladis' film credits also include Devil's Knot for director Atom Egoyan, opposite Colin Firth and Reese Witherspoon, and Not Safe For Work for director Joe Johnston. He also appeared in Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar and in K-19: The Widowmaker for Katherine Bigelow. In comedy Michael starred in the indie films Knights of Badassdom for director Joe Lynch with Peter Dinklage, and In Security for Evan and Adam Beamer. On the television side he's starred as Chief in the off-kilter Adult Swim show Eagleheart opposite Chris Elliott, as well as guest turns on How I met Your Mother, Hope & Faith, and The Neighborhood with Cedric The Entertainer. He has also been featured in numerous Funny Or Die shorts online alongside his wife, Beth Behrs. Gladis recently starred in a memorable episode of Law & Order: SVU. Additionally, he recurred in House of Lies, opposite Don Cheadle for Showtime, and in Extant opposite Halle Berry. No stranger to CBS, Michael played Deputy Chief Holland Knox on the series Reckless, and has also appeared on The Good Wife and The Mentalist. The consummate chameleon, he did noteworthy turns on Justified, House M.D., and Lucifer. Michael recently adopted a Percheron horse named Rosie, is an avid rider, and volunteers for a program that does equine therapy for children with disabilities and veterans.
