Whenever you hear engineers at Walmart talk about their products, it's hard not to get excited.

Sony’s Pulse 3D wireless gaming headset is worth the roughly $100 price tag if you want a wireless model that can let the audio in some PS5-exclusive games shine. It sounds fantastic with titles like Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon’s Souls, as well as more recent hits like Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Like the console, this headset has been a little tough to find, but it’s coming back in stock more frequently these days. Sony also released a midnight black version of the headset for $100.Sony’s Pulse 3D wireless gaming headset is worth the roughly $100 price tag if you want a wireless model that can let the audio in some PS5-exclusive games shine. Walmart's most recent PS5 drop, which happened earlier today, sold out quickly. But the retailer does often announce availability ahead of time, and we've heard reports that it's easy to get a PS5 during one of the Walmart+ member-only PS5 restock events at Walmart, so long as you're at the Walmart website ready to buy the minute new stock appears. Xbox

Ready. Steady. Go. If you’re still looking for a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, Walmart Plus members will be able to queue up for the console beginning at 12PM EST on Wednesday, December 8th. Walmart will open the digital queue for the standard PlayStation 5 ($500), the disc-less, digital-only version ($400), and the Xbox Series X ($500). This paywall doesn’t guarantee that you’ll have success in snagging a console, but it’s currently the only way to be in the running at this particular retailer.

When Walmart announced its Gamer Drop event, we assumed that it would be the perfect place to score a chance at getting one of the three hard-to-find game consoles this season. But Walmart has specifically confirmed that the PS5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch OLED consoles will not be available when the event starts at participating stores on Saturday, December 11th at 10:30 a.m., despite all three being featured on the event's landing page.
