Is that your explanation? It converts to binary and back? I think you forgot the meat and potatoes here. Allegedly, it uses logs, but you cannot tell me every base 10 log for every number is stored in a calculator. You can say as numbers advance, they can be factored to smaller numbers, but you would be glossing over prime numbers! So, what's the real deal with calculators? Bonus q: How can they do square roots?
