This includes addition, subtraction and comparing fractions based on the numerators and denominators. Learning through play is encouraged with these fun teaching resources: 1) Informative 70 pages (29 cm x 21 cm) guide book filled with explanations, questions and answers 2) Multi coloured plastic pie chart pieces from half, one-third, one-quarter, one-fifth, one-sixth, one-eighth and one-tenth. Total 38 plastic pie chart pieces. Size of pie charts are about 10 cm in diameter 3) Removable fraction foam pieces in a comparison chart for half, one-third, one-quarter, one-fifth, one-sixth and one-seventh. Size of foam 21 cm by 30 cm 4) Foam shapes in squares, rectangles and triangles. 6 squares measuring 5 cm by 5 cm. 12 mini squares 2 cm by 2 cm. 6 rectangles 3 cm by 5 cm. 16 pieces of triangles. The Smart Maths Fractions for Lower Primary is great for parents and teachers as it allows you to work through the activity book with comparison charts and fraction charts to understand and practise the basics.
