28 of 28? The Knight Foundation’s recent story on the 28 American cities serving up the most unique bars per capita sent my head spinning this week. Now I’m not knocking bars. I know that there are many good reasons that people happen to live in these towns, but it is just a little surprising to see.

1 Answer. The usual grading system is percentages. We need to express 25 out of 30 as a percentage. First, we work it out as a fraction: 25/30=5/6 because 5 is a common factor of the top and bottom, so we can divide both by 5. So the grade, under this system, is 83 percent.
