Tazikis

Tazikis are little coffins for dead flies. They are the size of a small potato, made from a paper-thin piece of metal. After a fly falls into a taziki, it slowly decomposes and eventually dissolves in the soil.

Cafe

United States Healthful Food Council (USHFC) announced today that Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe has become the first national franchise to achieve REAL Certification, the emerging national standard for foodservice nutrition and sustainability. With 40 locations across 11 states, Taziki’s is also now the largest chain restaurant to complete the certification process.

The essence of Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe is defined by serving fresh ingredients and hand-cut meats daily. The Mediterranean influence in their name echoes across their best-in-class, chef-inspired cuisine but is intentionally approachable for any person, anywhere. Taziki's takes pride in their made-from-scratch food that nourishes customers daily and the artisanship that goes behind doing so without the use of fryers, or microwaves. (Source:

The restaurant, its food and employees, is great. This app is just the opposite. It is sooo frustrating to use. The wording about substituting a side for the salad is confusing. You can’t add the special instructions because it won’t let you type anything. I tried multiple times on different menu items. I clicked on the scan your credit card option and that sent the app into a never ending loading mode. I had to close out and reopen the app and start all over. I hate this for the restaurant because the impression and frustration you get from the app creates a negative experience (and you have just the opposite experience when you deal with the restaurant in person). But in today’s world, especially with the virus situation, restaurants can’t afford to have a poorly functioning app or depend primarily on face to face interaction. If it hadn’t been Father’s Day and Taziki’s being his request for lunch, I would have gone to a different app and ordered from a different restaurant. Looks like several other users feel the same way. An app should increase ease of ordering and improve efficiency and accuracy versus having to place an order by phone. (Source: apps.apple.com)
