I wanted to like this place since the food at their neighboring restaurant Pappadeaux is so good. After years of avoiding Pappasito's Cantina I finally decided to give it a try. My fiance and I came here on a Thursday night. The restuarant was less than half full, which was still a decent amount of people since the place is massive. We were seated immediately by a friendly hostess. Our waitress was amicable and attentive. We started off with drinks, I ordered a Skinny Margarita and my fiance had a Patron Margarita. Hands down they were in the top 5 of best Margaritas we have ever had, they were pricey but very good. To keep it on the safe side since this was my first visit, I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my companion ordered the Chicken fajitas. They came with beans and rice. There was pork in the beans which I don't eat and the rice was not to my liking. Even the shrimp that came with my meal didn't taste good. My entire meal was a total fail. Fortunately, my fiance felt his food was decent. The service here is exceptional, drinks are good, for me the food was blah. If I'm in the mood for Tex Mex this place would not make the list. I do think it's a great place to meet up for drinks. (Source: restaurantguru.com)
