Mcalisters have been the pioneers in the adventure playground industry since 1974 and is recognised as the global leader in this market. When we started a business years ago, we found that the personal touch was important.
I have never had a problem on the app till tonight and it said that something was not available And I tried to check out....but it wouldn’t tell me why it was not available at the Fountain City store in Knoxville Tennessee. So I decided to call the store and I must’ve ended up in the Philippines where he didn’t understand anything I was ordering ...and then he couldn’t take my money over the phone.... I was on hold for 20 minutes till he transferred me to the store on Broadway in fountain city/Knoxville Tennessee..The lady who Answered the phone said that all catering orders go through a call-center I was not placing a catering order I was ordering for my son and myself $21 to be exact. The lady on the telephone In the store on Broadway in Knoxville Tennessee didn’t seem too concerned and didn’t care that I didn’t place my order. Why can’t we just talk to someone on the telephone that is literally in the location we are trying to order from???? Why does everything have to be transferred over the Atlantic ocean or the Pacific ocean when we are in the United States of America. The reason everyone is going out of business is because there is no customer service anymore.
Our story started in the small southern town of Oxford, Mississippi. A movie production had taken an old service station and retrofitted it into a 1950’s-style diner. After they finished, it sat vacant until a dentist bought the property. He had a vision of turning the abandoned set into a small restaurant. And in 1989—you guessed it—the first McAlister’s opened its doors. Much like today, we offered a unique menu with sandwiches, entrée salads, giant spuds and a heaping spoonful of southern hospitality. We quickly became known for our great food, large portions, wide variety, and a welcoming environment… also one heck of a glass of sweet tea. The chain's accelerated growth has been fueled by the prioritization of enhancing the guest dining experience with improvements to its mobile app and loyalty program, leveraging digital technology to increase the number of service options to make the brand more accessible. McAlister's launched tableside ordering in early 2021 that allows customers to skip the line and order at their table with the mobile app, creating an even more personalized service experience. Since the launch, participation rates on the mobile app are up seven times from what they were pre-pandemic, ultimately increasing revenue and driving customer loyalty among new and existing guests. The shift leads are all really nice however, the general work environment is subpar to say the least. The restaurant itself is filthy beyond belief in the back of house. It also seems that promotions are granted more on a basis of favoritism than of hard work and the time you put in. There are also no benefits to speak of save for half off one meal a day. The owner is a incredible mix of inept and overbearing that is would be comical if you did not work for him. Even if you are a high schooler looking for a first job avoid this place. Also the pay is lower than what is offered at nearly every other restaurant regardless of position. All and all, avoid this place. (Source: www.indeed.com)
