WWE Raw: Brock Lesnar Vs Bobby Lashley III Is Officially Booked
On Saturday night in Montreal, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley III will square off in a rematch of their thrilling fight at Crown Jewel last fall.
The match could be a promotional ploy to leverage Lesnar and Lashley's star power, or it could be an indication that WWE is prepping for a match at WrestleMania.
Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley have a storied rivalry that dates back decades. Despite losing both of their championship matches to Lashley in the past, the two have managed to maintain an intense rivalry throughout the years.
Reunited only recently, Lesnar denied Lashley the United States Championship in October. Thereafter, they had an epic clash at Crown Jewel 2022 where Lashley was easily outmatched by The All-Mighty.
WWE may not have gotten a third match, but they will utilize their shared history in this contest. It promises to be an exciting one that doesn't feel thrown together just for money's sake.
On Monday night's WWE Raw, Lesnar and Lashley featured in a promo segment that got viewers talking. The duo discussed their history together in WWE, as well as how they've won several times over one another.
At this point, it appears certain that Lesnar and Lashley will square off again at Elimination Chamber 2023. Their feud has been a hot topic over the last few months, and with a title on the line in this matchup, it appears Lesnar is determined to come out on top.
This match has great potential and provides WWE with a chance to introduce a new character into their company. Although it remains uncertain how this story will play out, its outcome could have significant repercussions for other plotlines within WWE.
If this is indeed the end for these two, it could mean a new wrestler will emerge as Roman Reigns' main challenger. Additionally, Lesnar may transition into a higher profile role within the company - perhaps serving as one of the main eventers at WrestleMania.
Although their battle may not be the most captivating thing in WWE, it still offers fans a fun matchup that's sure to draw attention and keep them coming back. Plus, it provides an opportunity for Rollins and Lesnar to have an interesting storyline in the future.
Lashley and Roman Reigns' feud has reached a boiling point on Raw this week, as Kurt Angle pleaded for them to save their animosity until Extreme Rules on Sunday. But the two superstars refused and began exchanging blows instead.
As champion, Reigns has never been able to defeat Lashley in a competitive match, leading many fans to wish for an official Lashley vs. Reigns match on SmackDown soon.
Now is the ideal time for it, since WWE has been showcasing more talent on both shows of their brand split. A huge match between Reigns and Baron could provide even greater momentum to get Reigns the title back before Money in the Bank or SummerSlam.
It's unfortunate that the feud between Reigns and Lashley isn't over yet, as there is so much potential for them to become an exciting duo on WWE's roster. If WWE can demonstrate to its fans that they are truly behind Lashley, he could very quickly become their top babyface.
This week's main event of WWE Raw featured Reigns and The Usos teaming up against Big E and Bobby Lashley in a Triple Threat match. This thrilling contest had many highlights to enjoy.
Reigns had this match under control from the get-go, spearing Big E several times and hitting him with a Superman punch to break a pin. Additionally, he had multiple near falls and hit an impressive frog splash off the top through the announce table to take control of the proceedings.
This match has the potential to be one of the highlights on both PPVs this summer, offering Reigns an exciting new feud to explore. With so many potential storylines in play, this could be a compelling spectacle.
The crowd was clearly invested in Bobby Lashley, with loud chants of his name. This shows that the WWE Universe remains committed to him and should see him challenge Reigns as soon as possible.
On December 19th, WWE Raw will feature a thrilling main event with Seth Rollins defending his United States Championship against Bobby Lashley.
This match will take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - an ideal setting for this match and one that promises to be exciting and thrilling.
In this match, Rollins and Lashley will seek to put their differences behind them. Recently, the duo has been getting in each other's way too often, leading to Lashley placing his hands on a referee last week - an incident which resulted in Adam Pearce firing Lashley from his position as captain.
For fans who enjoy watching a good brawl on RAW, this match is a must see. Additionally, those new to the company or have missed this feud in recent weeks should definitely tune in for some exciting action!
There has been much anticipation leading up to this match for months now, but there are a few factors that could potentially derail it for Rollins.
Lashley is widely expected to turn heel in the near future. This move has been teased for some time now, and although many wrestling fans have long anticipated it, it can never be guaranteed what reaction the audience will give him.
If Lashley does decide to turn heel, this could be the start of an ongoing feud between these two men. While a great match would ensue if Lashley turns against Theory, viewers may struggle to feel any sympathy for him when they witness him change sides.
It is possible that the match will conclude before it has a chance to progress further, as Rollins and Riddle remain at odds with each other and their animosity may reach an all-time high this year. This could be why Rollins and Lashley find themselves fighting for their lives in this match.
This match promises to be an exhilarating spectacle for US Championship fans and should be an entertaining watch. Whoever emerges victorious will likely walk away with the title, which is a tremendous reward for anyone in this business.
Strowman and Lashley are two of the most dominant wrestlers in WWE, but they also have some serious problems. Their feud began on Raw with a Falls Count Anywhere match that ended abruptly, with both Superstars being taken away on stretchers.
Throughout the RAW match, Strowman and Lashley exchanged blows, each trying to take the other down. But it all came to a head when Strowman and Lashley got into an altercation in the ring.
Fans in the arena yelled for "holy shit!" as they witnessed a massive LED board on the ring floor explode and ignite. It was an intense moment that left both Superstars flat on their stomachs on the ground; Strowman likely suffered from a ruptured spleen while Lashley likely succumbed to shock or unconsciousness.
Drew McIntyre came to Lashley's rescue and attacked him from outside of the ring, repeatedly smashing Lashley into the entrance set which caused an explosion of electricity which caused a major power outage in the arena as well as leaving some fans without electricity.
Drew then started working on Lashley in the ring, trying to suplex him into a hanging LED board but being blocked. Subsequently, Drew sent Lashley into that same board multiple more times.
However, it was too late to save him. His condition had worsened and bleeding had set in, making it impossible for him to continue on.
Strowman was determined to maintain the momentum and keep fans excited about his challenge. This match would be the ideal vehicle for him to do just that.
This could be a great program for the future, as both Superstars have impressive names and an enthusiastic fan base. With added hype from their match, it may boost ratings and give both of them more time in the spotlight on Raw.
This matchup between two of the greatest wrestlers in history promises to be an exciting one. They must put their differences aside in order to come out on top.
