Watch the Buffalo Bills Vs Kansas City Chiefs Football Game Today 2023

kansas city chiefs football game today 2023

A football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Raiders is expected to be played today. If you're a fan of either team, you'll want to be there to see this exciting matchup. Luckily, you'll be able to watch it on TV and online.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals will face off in a regular season game on December 4, 2022. This could be the next great rivalry in the NFL.

The Cincinnati Bengals have an excellent quarterback. Ja'Marr Chase is a star receiver and Joe Burrow has been great against blitzes. In the two teams' last three meetings, Burrow has beaten Mahomes twice.

The Cincinnati Bengals are one of the top teams in the NFL. Their offense is averaging 25.9 points per game.

Cincinnati will play a total of three preseason games in 2022 and 2023. They will also play eight home and nine away games. During the first five weeks of the 2023 season, they will face a tough schedule.

The Kansas City Chiefs are currently the #1 seed in the AFC, while the Bengals are the #2 seed. If the two teams progress in the playoffs, they would play a neutral-site game.

The two teams are slated to play each other in a playoff game in early January. If they both advance, they will have a chance at winning the AFC Championship.

Both teams are also vying for the top spot in the AFC West. While the Bengals have a better record, the Chiefs are still a strong contender to win the division.

Despite the Chiefs' dominance, the Bengals have been playing some of their best football of the season. If they can beat the Bills in Week 18, they could be in position for the playoffs.

In the first half of the game, the Bengals drove down the field on a 10-play, 53-yard drive. Evan McPherson made a 41-yard field goal. He later converted the PAT to give the Bengals a 7-0 lead.

Hopefully, the Bengals will show up and win on Sunday. But if they don't, the Bengals may miss out on their chance at the AFC Championship.

The next time these two teams play will likely be in the 2023 playoffs. Until then, fans can watch the game above. Streaming options include DAZN. You can also catch the game live on ESPN or ABC.

Minnesota Vikings

The Kansas City Chiefs play at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. They compete in the AFC West division. Their season will consist of thirteen games. Some of the opponents they will face include the New England Patriots, the Indianapolis Colts, the Los Angeles Chargers, the San Francisco 49ers, the Minnesota Vikings, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Tennessee Titans, and the Arizona Cardinals.

They have several talented players on the roster. Patrick Mahomes is expected to lead the team, along with Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Derrick Gore. Also, they have Josh Gordon, Skyy Moore, and Mecole Hardman.

Currently, the Chiefs have the best record in the AFC conference. However, they have also been a favorite of other teams for a long time.

In their first game of the 2022-2023 NFL season, the Chiefs will be defending Super Bowl champions. That would make them the most successful franchise in recent years.

The Chiefs have a tough schedule in the 2022-2023 season. They will face six games in the AFC West, which is the division that they currently occupy. Additionally, they will face eight home and away games in the NFC.

The Chiefs will also play a total of three Sunday night games in 2023. These games will be broadcast on ESPN and ABC. They will also be streamed on NFL+.

This will be the last year the Chiefs will have the "AFL-10" patch on their jerseys. They are also likely to return to the playoffs.

The team will face their biggest rivals twice a year. On August 28, 2021, the Chiefs will take on the Minnesota Vikings.

There are not many details on the playoffs yet. But when the playoffs do arrive, the Chiefs will be playing against the lowest remaining AFC seed.

During the playoffs, the Chiefs will play in the Wild Card Round. If they win their game, they will clinch the #1 seed in the AFC and the right to host their own playoff game. It is possible that they will be moved to Minneapolis or Tampa Bay.

The team will play in the NFL postseason from January 14 until February 2. Their 2023-2024 schedule has not been released.

Buffalo Bills

If you are looking to watch the Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs football game today, you have come to the right place. This matchup is a Week 6 matchup, and both teams are coming off a 38-3 blowout win against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The two teams are considered to be two of the top teams in the AFC. They are currently tied for the league lead in total offense, ranked in the top four in yards per game, and have one of the most impressive defensive rankings.

Both teams played each other in the AFC Divisional Round last season. The Buffalo Bills defeated the Chiefs in the playoffs. While they haven't played in an AFC Championship Game since, the Bills are still a very good team.

The two teams are slated to meet again this season. This game will be televised on CBS and local CBS networks.

In their most recent meeting, the Chiefs won 42-36 in overtime. It ended in a shocking moment. During the game, Buffalo safety Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest. He was then transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Both teams have been in flux over the past few months. As of the beginning of this week, the Chiefs have three starters on injured reserve, and the Bills have lost their top two defensive linemen.

But that doesn't mean that the two teams are out of the running for a first-round bye. They'll likely face the Packers and Bengals in the final two weeks of the regular season. And the winner of this game will have the chance to host the AFC Championship Game.

Buffalo has been 4-1 so far this season, and they are ranked the best team in the American Conference. They are also averaging the most yards per game.

The Chiefs have won their first three games of the season, and will probably have the home field advantage if they beat the Bills on Sunday. However, if they lose, they could be in a tough position to host the AFC Championship Game.

If the Bills have to beat the Chiefs twice, they might be able to secure the top seed. That would be a rare option in the NFL.

Los Angeles Raiders

If you are looking for a game to watch during AFC Wild Card Weekend in 2023, then look no further than the Los Angeles Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs. This will be a matchup that has major playoff implications for both teams.

The Raiders are looking to end their season on a high note, and they will have their chance on Saturday. However, they have struggled more than many expected. They have lost four of their last six games.

Moreover, they are winless when they score less than 22 points this season. That is something that will keep the Raiders focused on the offensive side of the ball. As they try to find a way to keep the game close, they will need to run the ball and force turnovers.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs have the best offense in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes is the quarterback, and he will likely cement his status as the next MVP. He passed for 340 yards and two touchdowns in the game.

With a victory, the Chiefs will clinch the AFC West. That is enough for them to get the top seed in the AFC and get a first-round bye in the playoffs. But they still have to beat the Raiders in Week 18.

In addition, they will need to beat the Bills, who can also clinch the top seed in the AFC, if they defeat them on Sunday. After that, they will have a bye on Wild Card Weekend. Luckily, they have a good chance at getting home-field advantage for the AFC if the Bills fail.

It is imperative that the Raiders don't give the ball back to the Chiefs. Their defense ranks among the worst in the league when it comes to pass defense. So, they will need to make adjustments to prepare for the postseason.

If the Raiders can beat the Chiefs on Sunday, they will be well on their way to winning their fifth straight game. When the teams meet in Las Vegas, the Chiefs have won eight of the last ten meetings.

On the other hand, the Raiders have lost to the Chiefs in five of their last six games. And the team has a long list of injuries.

Kansas City Chiefs Play by Play in 2023

The Kansas City Chiefs will be one of the teams to watch in 2023, as they will be playing the Los Angeles Chargers, Cincinnati Bengals, and Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL season. If you are a football fan, you will want to watch these games so you can get to know these teams better.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals are the kings of the AFC North. They have won four consecutive games, are 11-4 overall, and have clinched a playoff spot. That is not to say that they are out of the woods. Their opponents include division rivals like the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Dallas Cowboys. However, it is the team's resiliency and willingness to go the extra mile that will keep them in the hunt for another elusive AFC crown.

For the uninitiated, the Bengals are currently averaging just over seven points per game. They have also played one less game due to the cancellation of their Week 17 matchup with the Buffalo Bills. While it is not impossible for the Bengals to win a game in this season's AFC North, a win is definitely a good thing. If the Bengals can pull off the feat of winning back-to-back division titles, they can look forward to a ring a bell in 2022 and 2023.

The Cincinnati aforementioned mentioned notwithstanding, the team can't make the top tier of the league if they are to a lesser extent. They've already played four teams that finished in the same position as them. This means that they'll likely have to play the team that ends up in the cellar. On the flipside, they'll also get to face the competition on their home field.

It is also noteworthy that the Bengals opted for a revamped defensive scheme in 2022, one that includes more pass rushers and tackles. This, combined with an improved offense, could mean the end of the franchise's two-decade title drought. With the new regime under coach Zac Taylor and quarterback Andy Dalton, the team is expected to improve in every aspect of the game. In addition, the team has a promising young quarterback in Joe Burrow.

While the Bengals are far from perfect, they have a solid foundation to build upon. A strong secondary and a promising young defense should help them reclaim their AFC crown in 2023. Adding a quality wide receiver and a top flight quarterback could give the Bengals a chance to contend with the best in the league.

Hopefully, the Bengals will keep the momentum going into the second half of the season. If not, a win at the end of the year should be a given. Even if they don't, they'll have a playoff spot on their hands come January. To round out the story, a loss by the Las Vegas Raiders to the Kansas City Chiefs would do wonders for the Bengals' chances of catching the AFC West lead. Those odds aren't encouraging, but they're still better than the odds of the league's worst performing team.

Overall, the Cincinnati aforementioned mentioned notwithstanding is the team's best year yet. Despite a rocky start, they have played the right kind of games to get them to this point. There are still many challenges to overcome, but the Bengals are well-positioned to contend for another AFC crown in 2023.

Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles Chargers play by play in 2023 will be revealed in the spring. The final standings will determine the official seed. In the meantime, the Chargers will prepare for the postseason. Whether or not they make the playoffs will depend on how well they perform in the final two weeks of the season.

This season has been a great step forward for the Chargers. They have won four straight games and remain in the hunt for a playoff spot. A win over the Broncos on Sunday would lock up the top wild card spot in the AFC. If they lose, the Chargers can still clinch a fifth-seed in the AFC. However, they are likely to rest some starters.

For the first time in franchise history, the Chargers will have a quarterback in the playoffs. Justin Herbert, who was selected in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL draft, will lead the team in the postseason. While the final roster is not set yet, the team is likely to bring back several key players. Regardless, Los Angeles has the talent to make a surprising run.

With a couple of weeks to prepare for the playoffs, the team has been more focused than ever. Coach Brandon Staley has shown a willingness to take the team to the next level. His team has done well in the absence of Le'Veon James, who was ejected in Week 16. Even though James has accounted for a lot of the Chargers' success this season, Michael Davis has performed very well.

Without James, the Chargers will need to be more consistent in their offensive line. Denver, on the other hand, has a solid defense. It allows only 318.0 yards of total offense per game. However, they are also ranked 11th in rushing yards allowed and 12th in points surrendered.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers are averaging 22.7 points and 91.6 yards of rushing each game. These numbers are not bad, but the team needs some help on the offensive line. In addition, they need more receiver depth. To add to the challenge, they are 19th in the league in red zone touchdown scoring percentage.

Los Angeles Chargers playoff odds are very high. Their current playoff ranking is fifth, but they have the opportunity to climb to fourth or fifth if they can continue their win streak. Currently, they are favored over the 10-6 Dallas Cowboys in their matchup. Considering the amount of injury and lack of competition in the NFC, the Chargers could find themselves in a position to win an upset game.

On the other hand, the Chargers must also prepare to play their first game on the road. That means they will have to play half of their games away from home. So, if they are to be successful, the Chargers must take care of business on the defensive side of the ball.

Jacksonville Jaguars

The Kansas City Chiefs will visit the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, November 13. These two AFC West rivals have been battling for the top spot in the division for much of the season. Despite a five-game losing streak, the Jaguars are still in the mix and have shown improvement. They should also be able to get a win, which would boost them into second place in the AFC South.

The Chiefs have been cruising through the first half of their schedule. Their offense is averaging over 102 yards per game and they have scored an impressive 29 total offensive touchdowns. That is an impressive number and a testament to the fact that they have one of the best passing attacks in the NFL. However, they have a long way to go to become a force to be reckoned with.

On the flip side, the Jaguars have a strong defense, especially at the line of scrimmage. Their pass rush has been impressive this year. In particular, defensive end Calais Campbell has three sacks.

Patrick Mahomes has been a stud this season, completing an impressive number of passes for 312 yards. He has also been able to hit a few big-time plays. His 13-yard touchdown pass to Noah Gray was a highlight, but Mahomes has also thrown a couple of interceptions.

There are several other players to watch out for. First, you want to look for Travis Kelsey. Not only is he the leading scorer for the Chiefs, but he is also a dynamic pass-catcher. Over the last three games, he has racked up 24 catches for 312 yards.

As a result of this week's victory, the Chiefs have moved to 6-2 and hold the conference's top seed. Now the team is focused on getting back into the playoffs. Obviously, they can't afford to have a slow start, and they should also avoid letting up in the second half.

With a little luck, they could play host to the NFL's greatest lineup of the 2022 season. The Chiefs have a talented cast of quarterbacks, wide receivers and a pair of star running backs. Plus, they've got an excellent coaching staff and a talented secondary. But the Chiefs are still in a position to fall out of contention if they don't start winning.

The Chiefs will be playing half of their games at home and the other half on the road. In addition, they will play an NFC East team that finishes in the same position as them. This is one of the biggest opportunities for the team to make a statement.

In the end, the Jaguars won't be able to get the best of the Kansas City Chiefs. They did manage to beat the Titans in overtime, but the Chiefs did enough to keep their undefeated record intact.

Kansas City Chiefs Next Football Game 2023

kansas city chiefs next football game 2023

The Kansas City Chiefs next football game will be played on November 23rd, 2023 at Arrowhead Stadium. This game will mark the first playoff matchup for the franchise, and fans are anxious to see if the team can make a strong run in the postseason. The Chiefs have yet to play in the postseason, but Patrick Mahomes has established himself as one of the league's best quarterbacks.

Patrick Mahomes' numbers are unmatched

It's hard to find an individual in sports who can match Patrick Mahomes' numbers. In a career that's spanned five years and 67 games, the 25-year-old has earned 11 NFL records, including the MVP award. He's also on pace to break the single-season touchdown record and is on pace to throw and run for a combined 5,540 yards this season.

In addition to his incredible passing and rushing skills, Mahomes has a special sauce that has been a huge part of the Chiefs' success. This was proven in Week 5 when he led the team to a 38-20 win over the Buffalo Bills. The Chiefs are on track to play in the AFC Championship Game next week.

The Chiefs have a wide variety of playmakers, and the secondary had a great game, protecting the deep threat. But the Chiefs had trouble stopping the Texans, who rushed for 498 yards and controlled almost 40 minutes of the game clock.

Patrick Mahomes had a few great moments in this game. First, he found Travis Kelce for a 1-yard touchdown. And then he set up a scoring drive with two passes to Jerick McKinnon.

On the other hand, Patrick Mahomes also had a couple of hiccups. He had an interception in the second quarter, and he missed four wide-open receivers in the third quarter. However, there were other things to be proud of.

Patrick Mahomes is the youngest player to ever start a football game. His first start in the NFL was against the Dallas Cowboys at age 17. Earlier this week, the Chiefs announced that he is expecting his first child with Brittany Matthews.

Patrick Mahomes has been the most physically talented quarterback in the NFL. He's got the speed to complete long passes, and he's got the arm to throw to all types of players. So it's no wonder that Patrick Mahomes has the most touchdown passes of any quarterback since 2018.

If he wins the MVP this year, Mahomes would be the third-youngest MVP winner in the history of the NFL.

Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field in Cincinnati

The game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals was officially postponed Sunday night after Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field. The injury occurred with about six minutes left in the first quarter.

Hamlin had been tackled by Tee Higgins. As he fell, he hit his chest. After a few seconds, he stood up briefly. He then slumped backwards. A few minutes later, he was taken off the field.

An ambulance was dispatched and rushed to the field. Medical personnel administered CPR to Hamlin. Players from both teams crowded around him as he was being treated.

While medical staff worked to revive Hamlin, several players from both teams were in tears. Some knelt around him and others turned away.

Several NFL players sent messages of support to Hamlin. Russell Wilson and JJ Watt tweeted out their support. LeBron James also sent his support.

According to an ESPN broadcast, medical officials were administering CPR to Hamlin while he was on the turf. They said that he had oxygen and a breathing tube in his throat.

When the ambulance arrived, Hamlin's family joined him. His mother was at the game. Then, he was taken to the hospital.

Hamlin has been taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He has been listed in critical condition.

Initially, the NFL did not make an official announcement about the player's condition. But, the NFL has been in contact with the Bills and Bengals organizations. It has stated that it will continue to work with both teams to make sure that the injured players receive the proper care.

According to Hamlin's family, the player remains in critical but stable condition. The family is thankful for the support. There are still no details about the cause of the cardiac arrest.

Hamlin's family is thankful to the fans who supported them during this time. And they want to thank the Bills for their continued support.

The Bills released a statement about Hamlin's condition before the flight reached Buffalo. Both the team and the NFL Players Association have pledged to provide support to the two teams.

Kansas City Chiefs' first playoff matchup

With the regular season winding down, the Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for their fourth straight playoff run. After winning their Week 18 matchup with the Houston Texans in overtime, the Chiefs are currently atop the AFC standings based on win percentage. However, the playoffs haven't yet started, so fans and players are still eager to find out where they'll be playing in the postseason.

In the playoffs, the Chiefs will play a game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. They'll then face another team in the divisional round, likely the Baltimore Ravens. Depending on the playoff seeding, the Chiefs could also go head to head with Los Angeles Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars or the Houston Texans.

The first AFC Championship Game will be played at a neutral site, but it's not guaranteed. If the Chiefs can beat the Raiders, they'll earn home field advantage throughout the rest of the playoffs. Interestingly, they could also have a chance at hosting the big game at Arrowhead.

Another AFC Championship Game that might be coming to Kansas City is the one that the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals are scheduled to play. Unfortunately, that game is off due to an NFL rule change.

This could be an interesting story, as it would pit two of the best quarterbacks in the league against each other. However, the Chiefs have proven that they aren't as big of a blowout team as their opponents, meaning both teams would have a tough time containing their respective offenses.

In the meantime, the Bills can hope to have their first playoff win since 2006. They'll face the New England Patriots in their Wild Card Round game on January 2. The winner of that game would advance to the conference finals where they'd get a home game in the AFC Championship Game.

Although they didn't make the Super Bowl this year, the Kansas City Chiefs have an excellent chance of doing so next year. Patrick Mahomes has been an MVP candidate for years, and the Chiefs have some talented players on their roster.

Kansas City Chiefs' schedule has gone "all-in"

If you've followed the Kansas City Chiefs this year, you've seen them lock in to a tough AFC West schedule. The Chiefs have won their division in each of the last six seasons, and they will try to do it again in 2022.

They'll face a team with a Super Bowl title in hand, and the two teams from last season's playoffs. That's a pretty big hurdle to jump. And yet, with a win over the Los Angeles Raiders on Saturday, the Chiefs can clinch the top overall seed in the AFC and start off the playoffs with a bang.

Andy Reid's team is going to be one of the most attractive TV properties in the NFL this year. Their upcoming schedule is full of exciting non-divisional games, including a matchup against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, and a rematch against Tampa Bay Buccaneers in NBC's Sunday Night Football.

Patrick Mahomes could lead the Chiefs to their fifth consecutive AFC Championship game, which would be a historic accomplishment. The Chiefs haven't lost a road divisional game under Mahomes. But they've been beaten by the Saints twice in the last two years.

As for the Raiders, the Chiefs have scored 28 points or more in 10 straight games against them. That includes a 31-13 victory in Week 4.

After a tumultuous first half of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs are finally back on track. They defeated the Raiders by 31-13 and clinched the top overall seed in the AFC. Now they're looking toward the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs.

They're also in prime position to clinch the top overall seed in the conference, with a Bills loss. In fact, they'll hold a tiebreaker over the Bills thanks to their head-to-head record.

If the Bills and Chiefs both win, then they'll share the top seed with the Cincinnati Bengals. It's not impossible, but the Bills have to defeat the Patriots at home on Sunday and the Chiefs have to lose to the Raiders.

Until then, the Chiefs have a tumultuous schedule in front of them. With three of their first four games on the road, they'll be facing a lot of difficult competition.

The Kansas City Chiefs Game Last Night 2023

kansas city chiefs game last night 2023

The Kansas City Chiefs game last night was a good one. Patrick Mahomes passed for 328 yards and 3 touchdowns, and the defense came through with a 106.1 rating. This should be good for them as they look to win the AFC West and take home-field advantage through the postseason. Whether they play the Steelers in the playoffs or not remains to be seen, but if they do, the Chiefs can expect to face a tough match-up.

Defense bends but doesn't break at the goal line

The Kansas City Chiefs are in town to take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 18. This game is the first of three to finish the regular season, which is a must for the Chiefs. If they can win, they can lock up the AFC's top playoff seed, and also guarantee a home game in the first round of the playoffs.

Although this wasn't a super-simple task, the Chiefs did manage to perform all the requisite actions. They got an early lead and never looked back. In the game's main headline, the Chiefs defense played well enough to put the Raiders away.

On the flip side, the Raiders had a couple of good moments of their own. For instance, quarterback Jarrett Stidham's performance was a lot better than expected. He threw a number of decent passes, and the Chiefs held him to a respectable 279 total net yards.

Despite their loss, the Raiders were in decent shape for their last game of the season, and they'll be looking to put their season on the right foot for the start of the playoffs. But the real test will be how they defend against Mahomes and company.

Luckily for the Chiefs, the Raiders aren't the most gifted passers in the league. That being said, Mahomes' performance was still impressive. His 14-for-17 passing effort for a pair of touchdowns was the most productive by any quarterback this season.

Patrick Mahomes passes for 328 yards & 3TDs vs. INT with 106.1 rating

Patrick Mahomes threw for 328 yards and three touchdowns against Denver in the Chiefs' victory on Sunday. He also finished with a 106.1 passer rating. The win was the Chiefs' fourth straight. They are now 5-2 and top the AFC West.

Patrick Mahomes was able to lead his team to a victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday in the final regular-season game of the year. But the game didn't come easy. There were two turnovers and four incompletions. Even though Mahomes was perfect through the first half, he had a few hiccups in the second half.

The first was a deep pass that Patrick Mahomes missed, as well as a couple of wide open receivers. His accuracy took a dip after a hard hit to his legs in the first quarter. Fortunately, he recovered.

The second was a two-yard touchdown pass to Jerick McKinnon. It was the quarterback's 40th TD pass of the season.

Patrick Mahomes had a three-drive sequence in the third quarter. Two of those passes were deep. However, he failed to find receivers who had open holes, including Skyy Moore.

Patrick Mahomes has thrown for over 5,000 yards twice in his career. Currently, he is the only player to do so in both leagues.

Among quarterbacks, he leads the NFL in passing yards. In addition, he leads the league in passer rating.

Chiefs' offense starts and ends with Mahomes

The Kansas City Chiefs' offense starts and ends with quarterback Patrick Mahomes. It's a combination of his uncanny arm strength, top-tier accuracy, elusiveness, and uncanny ability to extend plays. In fact, he may be the best passing player in the NFL, and he's on pace to set a career high in touchdown passes.

Mahomes has also been effective in passing the ball downfield, leading the league in completions of at least 20 yards. His passer rating is 108. This number is on par with that of Patrick Allen, Russell Wilson, and Eli Manning, and he's also the only quarterback in the NFL to rank in the top three in yards per attempt, EPA, and Total QBR.

Mahomes has the elusiveness to find open receivers while in motion. He has completed two touchdowns this season, and he has shown that he can lead last-minute touchdown drives. However, he's also struggled with uncharacteristic inefficiency, including a career-low 7.0 yards per pass attempt.

Mahomes has also been sacked on 3.89 percent of his pass attempts. While he has a high success rate when throwing in the air, he has also made more mistakes when trying to scramble.

One way to address this is to bring more of a running game to the table. Chiefs running backs have been particularly involved in the aerial attack, and they can support Mahomes with play-action shots. That will help re-open the passing game.

Chiefs clinch 7th-consecutive AFC West division title

The Kansas City Chiefs clinched their seventh straight AFC West division title last night. They became the second team in NFL history to win the division seven consecutive times. It's also the longest active streak in the sport.

Chiefs beat Houston Texans 30-24 in overtime on Sunday. Patrick Mahomes extended his franchise record for most passing touchdowns in a season, and the Chiefs finished the year with 11-3.

The Kansas City Chiefs have won 14 division titles since 1963. That includes six Super Bowl wins and one super bowl appearance. Those have made them one of the best teams in the NFL.

Patrick Mahomes is a big reason why the Chiefs have won seven straight AFC West titles. He is also the leading candidate for MVP.

Mahomes threw for 313 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the game. He's thrown for more than 4,000 yards in five of his first six seasons.

Patrick Mahomes is currently on track to become the first quarterback in NFL history to reach 4,000 yards in four years. If he can do it again in 2023, he'll set another franchise record.

Mahomes has thrown for over 300 yards in eight straight games. He also has five straight games with a rushing touchdown.

In the playoffs, the Chiefs have made it to the AFC Championship Game in each of the past four years. Last year, they beat the Bengals and finished with a 12-3 record.

Chiefs could face the Steelers in the playoffs

The Kansas City Chiefs have been one of the most successful teams in the NFL for several years. They have appeared in two super bowls and are currently 13-3. In fact, they are averaging more than 32 points per game.

If they make it to the playoffs, they will have the chance to face the Pittsburgh Steelers. This could be a very exciting matchup. And the winner would likely get a home playoff game.

The Steelers are led by veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who has plenty of experience in the playoffs. But his arm strength is not what it once was.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, are led by Patrick Mahomes. He has taken over as the starting quarterback from Alex Smith. His favorite target is Travis Kelce.

The Chiefs have won three straight games and are in a good spot in the AFC. However, they haven't had a great start to the 2021-22 season.

There are still eight games to be played before the playoffs start. These games can have a major effect on the Chiefs' seeding. Currently, they are at a 38% chance of being a seven-seed.

However, if they can beat the Raiders, they have a chance to be a two-seed. Depending on how the Bills play, they could be a three-seed or a four-seed.

The Chargers also have a shot at being a seven-seed. Their best hope is if the Colts lose.

Chiefs clinch home-field advantage throughout the postseason

The Kansas City Chiefs are in position to secure home-field advantage in the AFC playoffs. If they win their divisional round game against the Raiders in two weeks, they will host the Division Round against the lowest remaining seed in the AFC.

For the past three seasons, Kansas City has hosted the AFC Championship Game. Their most recent appearance was in the Super Bowl, losing to the New England Patriots. They are also in position to secure the number one seed in the AFC playoffs.

It has always been a priority for the Chiefs to have home-field advantage in the AFC playoffs. Unfortunately, this season they did not get the chance to do so.

The Chiefs lost to the Buffalo Bills 24-20 in week six. The Chiefs are still resolute in securing their spot in the Super Bowl. This is their first Super Bowl appearance in 50 years. However, if the Bills win their next game, they will have the opportunity to win the AFC East and clinch the number one seed in the AFC.

The Bills haven't won at Arrowhead Stadium since the 2015 season. The Chiefs won the last two meetings there in the playoffs. In those games, the Bills were unable to take control of the game, and the Chiefs won.

With the loss, the Texans are out of the running for the playoffs. They are currently at 11-4.

The Kansas City Chiefs Play Today 2023

If you are a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, then you would probably be interested to know what the team's record will be in the future. The 2023 season is fast approaching, and the Chiefs are on the verge of becoming a real contender in the NFL. Here are some statistics to give you an idea of how the team will perform.

Jaguars

When the Jacksonville Jaguars travel west to play the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, it's sure to be an interesting matchup. While the Jaguars are still struggling, they're coming off a win over the Las Vegas Raiders last week, and are seeking their first win in Kansas City since 2007.

The Jaguars are going to need to improve their performance on the defensive side of the ball in order to get their season back on track. They also need to generate more production from their other offensive players.

One of the most important things to remember about the Kansas City Chiefs is that they are a dominant force in the AFC West. Their first round bye gives them plenty of time to prepare for their wild card game, which will be played at Arrowhead Stadium if the Jaguars lose to the Bills on Monday Night Football.

The Chiefs are led by second-year quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who has smashed the NFL record for most touchdown passes through 75 games. He is also the league's leading passer in both passing and rushing yards.

Despite the impressive performance, Mahomes has a bad record against the AFC South. In fact, the Chiefs are 1-1 against the division this season.

For the Jaguars, they are 3-6. That's a better record than the 0-6 Tennessee Titans, but they're not faring well against the AFC South either.

Chargers

The Kansas City Chiefs are playing their final home game of the season today. They are playing against the Los Angeles Chargers. Both teams are expected to have a good game. This is the second time the two teams will face off this year.

A win by the Chargers would be a huge boost to their chances of a playoff spot. It would help them to stay ahead of the Buffalo Bills, who they lost to in Week 6 of the season. If the Chargers beat the Bengals and the Bills, they would be the top seed in the AFC.

In their first meeting, the Chargers held Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to a mere six points. But in the second half, the Chargers settled down and forced two consecutive punts. After the Chargers gained their first lead of the game, the Chiefs took the lead on a Mike Danna interception and a Wesley Roesch sack.

The Chiefs and the Chargers have played four games this season, all of which have been decided by a few points. Both teams have won two of those four meetings.

Kansas City has had a very tough schedule this season. They have played rivals such as Indianapolis, the Los Angeles Rams, and the New England Patriots. As a result, they have been favored by other teams.

In addition to playing in the regular season, the Chiefs will also play in the playoffs. They will likely have to play in the Wild Card Round.

Ravens

If you're a fan of the NFL, then you'll be interested to know that the Kansas City Chiefs play today. This team has been one of the most successful franchises in recent years. And they're looking to make it back to the playoffs.

The Chiefs are currently in first place in the AFC with a record of 13-1. In Week 15, they defeated the Texans to clinch their spot in the postseason. Their victory also clinched the #1 overall seed in the AFC.

However, the Chiefs aren't the only NFL team that has a winning record this season. The Baltimore Ravens, for example, are 12-4. They also have the second best run defense in the league, led by Ray Lewis.

Both teams have a lot of talented players. One of them, Patrick Mahomes, is considered the best quarterback in the NFL. His performance in the last game has him on the verge of another MVP award.

Another notable player is running back Ray Rice. He has a complete back and has scored multiple touchdowns. As for the Chiefs, they have Derrick Gore and Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the rushing attack.

One of the biggest advantages in football is home field advantage. The Kansas City Chiefs play at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. That's not to say that the Chargers and Ravens don't have home fields.

Both teams have also had thrilling primetime games. But it's the Baltimore Ravens that have been more impressive.

Dolphins

If you're a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, you'll be glad to know they're playing today. They are the AFC's top seed. This means they'll have a bye in the first round.

The Chiefs have not been in the Super Bowl in quite some time, but they do have a great offense. In fact, their offense ranks as the best in DVOA.

With Patrick Mahomes at quarterback and Derrick Gore at running back, the Chiefs have plenty of talent to compete. However, they still need a little help on the offensive line and in the pass rush.

The Chiefs' playoff schedule is not yet known, but they will have at least two games at home. They could also face a team in the divisional round. It is possible that they will play against a team in the NFC East.

One interesting detail is that they will play the Raiders in Las Vegas. That game will be played on January 7 at 4:30 p.m. and it will be broadcast on ABC. You can watch it for free by signing up for a fuboTV trial.

The Chiefs are likely to have an easier time getting to the Super Bowl than the Patriots. If they beat the Raiders, they will have a home field advantage.

They have a chance to win the AFC West for the seventh consecutive season, but they can't take the league title away from the Bills.

Steelers

If you're a fan of American football, you'll know that the Steelers play the Kansas City Chiefs today. This is a great game that you shouldn't miss. The 2023 game between these two teams is going to be one of the most exciting games of the season.

Both teams are run-heavy and physical. This game has the potential to be a real test of wills. A win for either team could get them a shot at a playoff spot.

Pittsburgh and Kansas City have played each other a number of times over the years. They have even played each other in the postseason.

Although this won't happen until 2023, the two teams are looking to put their names in the record books. There is a chance that both teams will make the Super Bowl.

When it comes to the matchup, the Pittsburgh Steelers have a lot to prove. Their 8-7-1 record was their worst since the team took a bye in Week 7. Ben Roethlisberger has led the Steelers to the playoffs a dozen times.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a three-point favorite against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, you have to be careful of the spread. In the last four home games, the Steelers are 3-1 straight up.

The Steelers have also dropped close games to Miami, New England, and New York. Unless they can get a huge win on their own, they won't fare well against the Chiefs' vaunted offense.

Titans

If you are a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, you will be eager to learn about their playoff schedule. Currently, the Chiefs are the top seed in the AFC, but could see the Bengals or Buffalo Bills knock them off in the second round. The AFC playoffs are set to start on January 14th, and the Chiefs will play at least two of their games at Arrowhead Stadium.

In their recent matchups, the Titans have won five of six. They are 5-2 and have a chance to catch the Chiefs in the standings.

The Kansas City Chiefs are a tough team to beat, but their offense has been one of the best in the league in DVOA. They have a talented group of players. Patrick Mahomes II leads the way, and there are players like Derrick Henry, Ronald Jones, Mecole Hardman, and Skyy Moore.

On Sunday, the Tennessee Titans will take on the Kansas City Chiefs. This is a huge game for both teams. It is the final regular season game for each team. Each team is looking for a win to stay ahead of the other in the division.

If the Titans are able to defeat the Chiefs, they will stay on the right side of the division. However, if they lose, the Buffalo Bills will reclaim the top spot.

The Titans and Chiefs have been in a number of thrilling primetime games, including an overtime victory in Week 3. In 2013, the Chiefs and Titans met in the AFC Championship Game.

Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Famers 2023

kansas city chiefs hall of famers 2023

The Kansas City Chiefs have a storied past that includes some of the best players in the NFL. For this reason, the team should be proud to honor them by inducting them into the NFL's Hall of Fame. Some of the key players to watch out for in the class of 2023 include Darren Woodson, Dwight Freeney, Albert Lewis, and Darrelle Revis. Learn more about these and other players in this article.

Darren Woodson

The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced its finalists for the Class of 2023 today. Among them was former Cowboys safety Darren Woodson. If selected, Woodson would join 21 other former Cowboys in the Hall.

During a 15-year NFL career, Woodson made four Pro Bowls, played in three Super Bowls and finished as the Cowboys' all-time leading tackler. He also had three postseason interceptions. This was one of the rare dual-threats in league history.

In addition to his time in the NFL, Woodson was a member of the Arizona State Sun Devils from 1989-91. After three seasons, he was named team MVP.

In 2004, he led the NFL in sacks and was a two-time Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Year. His eight passes picked off in 1985 were a career high.

Before the start of the 2007 season, Woodson was named a starter at safety and became a rare dual-threat in the NFL. Over his illustrious career, he played in a total of 112 games. He earned first-team All-Pro honors three times.

Defensive end Dwight Freeney was another finalist. Freeney had a stellar career, recording 42 interceptions and 43 forced fumbles. From 2002 to 2011, Freeney averaged double-digit sacks. During his final year, he played in the Super Bowl.

The other finalists are: wide receiver Devin Hester, offensive lineman Zach Thomas, cornerback Albert Lewis, safety Darrelle Revis, linebacker Jared Allen, linebacker Torrie Holt and cornerback Ronde Barber.

Dwight Freeney

Dwight Freeney, the former Seattle Seahawk and Detroit Lion, has been named a Modern-Era Finalist by the Pro Football Hall of Fame. After racking up 125.5 sacks during his 17-year career, he is the 26th player in NFL history to reach that mark.

The selection committee is considering a total of 15 modern-era players. Last year's list of 129 nominees was reduced to 28. This year's 15 finalists are a mix of newcomers and returning players.

Among the modern-era finalists are DeMarcus Ware, who has racked up 138-1/2 career sacks and has been an All-Pro four times. He also won a Super Bowl with Denver after the 2015 season.

Darrelle Revis, who played eight seasons in New York, has been a four-time first-team All-Pro. He also has been a Super Bowl champion and has 42 interceptions in his career.

Joe Thomas, who has been an All-Pro in 10 games, is also one of the finalists for the 2023 class. Thomas was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 2007 draft. His 58 tackles and four sacks in 2008 made him a potential inclusion.

Devin Hester, who is a two-time winner of the Buck Buchanan Award, led the league in kick return average and punt return touchdowns in 2014. He also had 14 punt return touchdowns and was the leading return man in the NFL in 2014 with 35.7 yards per return.

Albert Lewis

Albert Lewis is one of the finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2023. While he played 16 seasons in the NFL, his time in the league's top tier was limited to just 11 years with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was a two-time All-Pro and an All-Pro special teams player.

Lewis was a key component of the Chiefs' defensive line for a decade. Along with Charles Woodson, he was a primary contributor to the team's success in the 1990s. In 1993, he led the team to the AFC Championship Game.

One of his more impressive feats was his selection as the MVP of the 1986 season. After his rookie campaign, he became a starter and earned a spot on the team's All-Pro team. He picked off a career-high eight passes in 1985. The Big Sky Conference also crowned him the Defensive Player of the Year.

Lewis ended his career with 832 tackles, 12.5 sacks, and 42 interceptions. He was an excellent cover corner and special teamer. At the age of 38, he returned an interception for a touchdown.

There are plenty of other finalists to look out for. Michael Strahan, for instance, was a five-year veteran of the Raiders who scored a defensive touchdown and recovered a pick-six. Other finalists include former Saints and Rams legend Torry Holt and former Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins player Zach Thomas.

Jared Allen

Jared Allen is a former Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings defensive end who is a Pro Football Hall of Fame finalist. He was one of 15 finalists announced Wednesday.

In total, Allen played 12 seasons in the NFL, during which he racked up 136 sacks. In addition, he earned four All-Pro nods and three First-Team All-Pro honors. He ranks among the top 10 on the NFL's career sack list, as well as among the top 30 on the official sack leaders list.

After spending his first few years in the NFL with the New York Jets and the Chicago Bears, Allen signed with the Carolina Panthers in 2015. In his final season, he ranked eighth in the NFL in sacks with 17 sacks.

The NFL's selection committee is considering 15 finalists to make the Hall of Fame class of 2023. Three of these finalists are former Kansas City Chiefs players, including Allen. Other finalists include Joe Klecko, Chuck Howley, and Ken Riley. Several first-time eligible players are also finalists, including DeMarcus Ware, Dwight Freeney, and Patrick Willis.

Despite his accomplishments, Allen never made it to the Super Bowl. During his tenure in Minnesota, he recorded 85 1/2 sacks in six seasons.

As a Viking, Allen was an integral part of the team's playoff runs in 2008, 2009, and 2012. His 22 sacks in 2011 were the second-most by a player in a single season in franchise history.

Zach Thomas

Zach Thomas has been knocking on the door of the Pro Football Hall of Fame for several years now, but he has yet to get in. Having just turned 49 years old, he has accumulated an impressive resume of accomplishments, including a career total of 1,700+ tackles.

In addition to his NFL career, Thomas has also been recognized for his college football accomplishments at Texas Tech University. He was named to the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year team in 1995, and was a consensus All-American in his third and fourth seasons.

A fifth-round pick in the 1996 NFL Draft, Thomas is a 13-year pro with a hefty resume. In fact, he has the most tackles of any player with at least 800 career tackles, and ranks second in the league with 20 sacks.

He has also been voted to seven Pro Bowls and named to the NFL's All-Decade Team for the 2000s. His list of accolades includes four interceptions, 13 fumble recoveries, and four touchdowns.

After a four-year stint in Miami, Thomas played for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2009. In his one season with the Chiefs, he scored a pair of touchdowns and recorded four interceptions. However, he has been largely overlooked on the Hall of Fame ballot, despite having one of the best NFL careers of all-time.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has finally released a list of modern-era finalists and semifinalists for the induction class of 2023. Although there are over 50 names on the roster, the list is trimmed to just five candidates.

Darrelle Revis

Darrelle Revis is one of the 15 finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's 2023 class. He will be announced on February 9 during NFL Honors in Phoenix.

Darrelle Revis has a career that spans 11 seasons. He spent the first half of his career with the New York Jets before being traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2017, he finished his NFL career with the Kansas City Chiefs.

When he played for the Jets, Revis was one of the best cornerbacks in the National Football League. During his time with the team, he earned four All-Pro honors and was a member of the league's 2010 All-Decade Team.

The Jets made Revis the first-round draft pick in 2007. After a strong rookie season, the defense knew that they had a superstar who could be a shutdown cornerback.

After a second stint with the Jets, Revis failed to make a mark in the NFL. It was not until he had been released by the Buccaneers that the Chiefs picked him up. During his final season with the Chiefs, Revis was named a starter. Although he played in all 16 regular season games, he was only able to record three interceptions.

Aside from his stellar career, Revis has also been recognized by the community. For his contributions to the local community, he was awarded the Bart Starr award in 2002. His name is also on the Dallas Cowboys' Ring of Honor.

Pro Football Reference 2023

The Kansas City Chiefs have won a lot of games over the years. But if they are to have a shot at winning their first NFL title in 2023, they will need to make some key additions. For starters, they should look into the wide receivers. Some good names to consider include Bryan Edwards, Carey Hardman Jr., and Daniel Wise.

Carey Hardman Jr.

The Kansas City Chiefs selected Mecole Hardman Jr in the second round of the NFL Draft in 2019. He is a wide receiver in the NFL. Before he was drafted, he was a five-star recruit from Georgia. After signing his first contract, he surprised his parents with a new house.

Before being drafted, Hardman played college football for the University of Georgia. In his junior year, he earned All-SEC second-team honors. He was also named to the U.S. Army All-America Bowl, the U.S. Football Writers Association's All-Rookie Team, the USA Today All-USA Second Team, and was a member of the U.S. Conference Championship Game.

During the 2008 season, he earned his first pro bowl selection. He was the fifth wide receiver picked up in the draft. Among his achievements, Hardman was selected to represent the East in the U.S. Army All-America Game, and was selected to play in the U.S. Football Writers' Association's All-Rookie Team. Aside from his receiving and rushing skills, he has been known for his return skills.

Hardman has scored 11 touchdowns in his career. He made his first postseason touchdown in the 2021 AFC Championship Game when he took a short pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes and ran for three yards. As of now, he has 86 career postseason punt return yards. Moreover, his 23.3 yards per return average is the highest single-game punt return average in the postseason.

His career includes a 48-yard punt return for a touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4, a 83-yard receiving touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4, and a 63-yard rushing touchdown in the Week 10 game against the Tennessee Titans. He has also made his first touchdown as a wide receiver in the Divisional Round against the Oakland Raiders. Additionally, he recorded his first 100-yard rushing game against the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game.

He has been active for all but one game in his rookie season. Having been on the injured reserve in Week 9 because of an abdomen injury, he was re-activated on January 4, 2023. That's a good thing for the Chiefs. Moreover, Hardman has become the team's leading returning punt specialist. Despite his recent absence, he has been responsible for handling the majority of the punt return duties.

In Week 7, he had 28 rushing yards against the San Francisco 49ers. He also had four receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown against the Oakland Raiders. However, in the Week 7 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, he was forced to go into the game in the fourth quarter due to injury.

Besides catching and running the ball, Hardman has also been an important part of the team's kickoff and punt return units. During his rookie season, he had a special teams tackle in each of his four games.

Daniel Wise

In the latest round of trades between the Chiefs and their competition, the Chiefs made the move to sign defensive lineman Daniel Wise to their practice squad. This isn't the first time the two have crossed paths, as Wise was briefly with the Arizona Cardinals in 2020.

Although Wise has been a fixture on the practice squad for most of the season, he hasn't played a single snap in a game yet. The good news is that he's been a solid performer throughout the entire training camp. Until Sunday, when he suffered an ankle injury that required nine snaps.

Wise has a pretty impressive resume. He was a starter at defensive tackle at the University of Kansas. He finished his collegiate career with 77 tackles and five sacks. His senior year, he also had one blocked kick and 14 quarterback hurries. However, he arguably saved his best for last. During the final three games of his junior season, Wise recorded 34 tackles, one blocked kick and six tackles (two of which were sacks) in a loss to Nicholls State.

A lot has changed since the Chiefs signed Wise to their practice squad, though. Among the notable changes are a pair of DTs who are more comfortable with playing the position on the edge than in the box. One of the replacements, Ihmir Smith-Marsette, has been promoted from the practice squad to the active roster. Another, Mecole Hardman, has also been activated from the Reserve/Injured. Meanwhile, safety Kam Curl has been wearing a cast on his hand, but is expected to return this week. There's no word on whether Curl will play a role in the regular season, but he's likely to remain in the secondary.

Lastly, the Chiefs clinched their first AFC playoff berth. If the Bills manage to win their next two games, it's possible they could host the Chiefs in the playoffs. As the league's defending champions, the Chiefs should have no trouble inching ahead of the competition, as they're already the highest seeded team in the conference. They'll have their bye during the first round of the playoffs. But that means the Chiefs have to play four of their six remaining regular season games at home. That will be an interesting experience, and it's one that Wise will be a part of.

Despite a rough start to the season, the Kansas City Chiefs are looking to rebound. Their top-ranked defense is the real deal and it's likely to be a force in 2021. With a talented group of pass rushers and a solid offense, the Chiefs should be among the favorites to win the AFC West.

Bryan Edwards

During the offseason, the Kansas City Chiefs made a few changes to their roster. One of the moves is the trade of wide receiver Bryan Edwards to the Atlanta Falcons. The Raiders are sending their third round pick in the 2020 draft and their 2023 fifth round pick to Atlanta in exchange for Edwards. This is not an especially large trade, but it's one that shows the Chiefs have some flexibility.

Despite being a rookie, Edwards played in 12 games this season and had a solid rookie year. While he didn't have the highest number of receptions, he had 11 touchdowns. He also had a solid stat line, accumulating 571 yards and 3 TDs, albeit in a relatively small sample size. After a week off, Edwards returned to the field and looked good. However, he departed with an ankle injury and missed four of his next five games. As a result, Edwards was in the shadows for the rest of the season.

The Kansas City Chiefs have hand picked their general manager, which is a great sign. The team has also made some interesting moves during the draft. The Chiefs have traded away some of their biggest draft picks, including quarterback Jarrett Stidham and cornerback Rock Ya-Sin. Meanwhile, they have been able to add players such as defensive end Daniel Wise and linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski. Hopefully, this will lead to some real growth in the coming years.

In addition to the above mentioned trade, the Chiefs have signed a couple of players to their practice squad. Wideout Ihmir Smith-Marsette was activated from the Reserve/Injured list while linebacker Darren Waller, who was acquired via a trade with the Detroit Lions, has also been added.

The Chiefs have also done their part by cutting several players, including wideout Bryan Edwards, who was traded to the Atlanta Falcons earlier this month. Edwards is a big, physical wideout who has a stout arm and a knack for making big plays in the closing minutes of a game. Although his numbers are modest, he was a big reason why the Chiefs won their fourth Super Bowl in the last decade. Ultimately, the Chiefs are a patient, well-run team that has a strong fanbase and an optimistic owner.

Although the Chiefs may have traded off some of their biggest assets, they still have a talented group of players to choose from. They have a wide receivers group that features a pair of studs in Darnell Mooney and Darrelle Revis, as well as a group that includes Olamide Zaccheaus and rookie Drake London. There aren't many positions in football that are as competitive as the wide receiver position. It's an ideal spot for a young player to break in, and the Chiefs should be able to use their newfound depth to their advantage.
