How Many Monday Night Raw Episodes Will Be in 2023?
The Monday Night Raw is the most popular wrestling show in the world. The biggest names in the industry such as Vince McMahon, John Cena, and Chris Jericho have made their name through a variety of wrestling techniques. However, there are a few things that you need to keep in mind when watching the Monday Night Raw.
Akira Tozawa showed up to Monday Night Raw looking for a match. He wanted to get a chance to prove himself and a spot in the Royal Rumble. It seems like a simple request but it turned into a huge event on Raw.
There are rumors that he may be added to the 2023 men's Royal Rumble. This happened at the 30th Anniversary episode of Raw.
The show opened with shots of The Bloodline. Apparently, this group runs Raw and SmackDown. They are the number one contender for the tag team titles.
They brawled for most of the match. It seemed as if everyone in their faction was allowed to be ringside. Elias made an appearance and bumped into MVP.
Then, it appeared as if the bloodline was in the midst of a battle. Dominik Mysterio attacked Solo Sikoa. And then there was the Six-Man Elimination Match.
However, the big news on the show was the acknowledgement ceremony for Roman Reigns. Afterward, the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso announced that they would defend their titles against Judgment Day.
If you have been following Monday Night RAW lately, then you have probably heard about the Raw Tag Team Title match that will take place at the upcoming Raw 30th Anniversary show. This show will air live on USA Network on January 23rd. It will feature legends such as The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, X-Pac, Road Dogg, and the Bella Twins.
Last week, The Judgment Day won the Raw Tag Team Division on a non-sanctioned show, and now they are ready for the title match. This time, they will be facing the Usos for the Raw Tag Team Championship. They have been feuding with the Usos on the red brand since last year, and will continue to do so on Monday Night Raw.
Earlier this week, Raw introduced a new face of evil on the red brand. Alexa Bliss announced that her brother, Kevin Owens, had been laid out by the Bloodline on SmackDown, and she has not seen him for a few weeks.
Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest have formed a team called the Judgment Day. This team has been one of the best teams on the red brand, and they have won the Tag Team Turmoil Match on the latest Monday Night Raw.
If you've ever wondered how many Monday Night Raw episodes there will be in 2023, you've come to the right place. This wrestling program airs on USA Network every Monday night at 8 PM Eastern. The show includes one-on-one and tag team matches. In addition to live events, WWE is also streaming episodes on YouTube TV and Peacock TV.
It's important to note that the number of Monday Night Raw episodes in 2023 is likely to change. This is due to the 30th anniversary of the program's launch. A special event titled "RAW Is XXX" will be held on January 23, 2023. Many of the athletes involved will be current stars.
John Cena and Chris Jericho were among the wrestlers on the show in 2012. They battled to win the Money in the Bank ladder match, but in the end, Cena won the title. However, after winning, Jericho felt like a main eventer.
One of the biggest reasons why this feud was so popular was the fact that the two men had some time to work together. It wasn't long before Cena insulted Jericho's musical talents.
Alexa Bliss has a lot to say. She's made it clear she wants to be the next great female Superstar in the WWE, but that doesn't mean she's going to just show up every week and sit on the sidelines. Luckily, she's got some company.
As it turns out, Alexa Bliss isn't the only woman on the block trying to tell us something. WWE's latest booking decisions have been the best for the women's division, and they're bringing back the importance of titles.
The latest WWE Monday night raw episode featured an epic brawl between Bianca Belair and her rival, Alexa Bliss. It's a battle that will go down in WWE history, and one that could help set the stage for the Royal Rumble.
Aside from the main event, the show also included a number of wacky segments. There was a prankster who sported an Uncle Howdy mask, a gimmick that didn't actually work, and a DDT that planted The EST with the infamous EST.
Finally, there was the tidbit that was sure to catch the eye. In fact, it was so tidbit worthy that the title of this article is a nod to it.
The Usos have become the undisputed tag team champions of the WWE. They hold both the RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Recently, they have passed the 500-day mark in their title reign. It is also the longest-running tag team titles in company history.
On Raw 30th, the WWE is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Monday Night Raw. The show will feature a RAW Tag Team Championship match, as well as two women's Triple Threat matches.
During the show, the WWE announced a high-stakes poker tournament, hosted by JBL. The tournament will feature six elimination matches, including one for the WWE United States Championship.
Also on Raw, a special ceremony is planned to honor the legacy of Roman Reigns. A group of members of the Bloodline will attend the event.
There are many other things to look forward to on RAW. For example, the WWE is planning to announce new Tag Team Title belts. As a result, The Usos are expected to lose their titles. Butch and Holland need to get motivated to win.
The two men have been feuding for some time now. They were both in the ring last night. And they are going to face off in the final match of the evening. It was a six-man elimination match.
Before the match started, Mustafa Ali came out and talked about how Ziggler was squandering all of his opportunities. He said that no one gets anything handed to them.
In the ring, Seth Rollins attacked Dolph Ziggler. After some trades, they were able to eliminate each other. But he still has a chance to win the US title.
Baron Corbin and Finn Balor stepped up and tried to attack Rollins and Lashley. Balor went for a double team on Rollins, but Rollins countered. However, Ziggler was able to dodge the splash. This left Balor and Ziggler in the middle of the ring.
Balor tries to hit Lashley, but he is blocked by Lashley. Lashley goes for the spear on Rollins. That's when Rollins moves in and he takes out Balor with a flying knee.
When Monday Night Raw started, we were set up for the Skull Crushing Finale. The Alpha Academy and The Judgment Day were going to face off for the Raw Tag Team Championship. It wasn't long before Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler made their way to the ring.
As we went into the match, it was obvious that it was going to be a huge battle. Besides the defending champions, there were also the newcomers, such as Rhea Ripley, Austin Theory, and Dominik Mysterio.
After a brief break, we came back to the match. Seth Rollins had just rolled up Dolph Ziggler. This was a big victory for him, as he was now the #1 Contender for the WWE United States Championship.
Meanwhile, the other two members of the tag team, Finn Balor and Baron Corbin, were double-teaming Rollins. They were working on the other side of the ring, though.
At first, the pair seemed to be working well. However, Lashley began to take control of the action. He began to set up a Hurt Lock for Balor. Balor was also starting to attack Ziggler.
Becky Lynch and Bayley have been feuding for years now, and finally it looks like they will go to a cage match next week. Their feud was a bit of a mess in recent weeks, but it looks like it will end in a big way at the upcoming Raw XXX special.
This isn't the first time they have been involved, but this match may be the best one yet. The two women have been rivals since they joined WWE's developmental program NXT.
The match took over the last hour of the show, and featured several moving parts. It also included plenty of music references. One was the Eat Defeat from Michin Mia Yim.
Becky and Bayley discussed their history, and they referenced how they got to where they are now. Specifically, they discussed how they went from being a pair of tag team competitors in NXT to being in a singles match on the red brand.
There were some big matches on the card, including a six-man elimination match for the United States Championship. In addition, there was a match involving The Usos and Dominik Mysterio.
The WWE Monday Night Raw in person event is held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 21, 2023. Tickets for the event are available online. This will be the first time that the event has been held in the city of Philadelphia and the second event in the area in the past decade. So if you're planning on attending the event, here are some things you should know.
Bianca Belair is the WWE RAW Women's Champion. She has had a long and impressive reign. But she has been pushed to the dark side.
Bianca has had some good matches this year. Her victory at WrestleMania 38 against Becky Lynch was incredible. Now, she is preparing to defend her title at the Royal Rumble.
Alexa Bliss has been slowly turning to the dark side, and has been influenced by Bray Wyatt. Despite her recent success, Bliss is unlikely to beat Belair this year. Instead, it is possible that she could return to the red brand in 2023, taking on Charlotte Flair in a title unification match.
Bianca Belair has been a part of the red brand for over two and a half years. Before she came to the main roster, she spent time in NXT. In fact, she was drafted to SmackDown in October. However, she returned to the red brand on January 16th.
The last eight months have seen Bianca win the Women's Royal Rumble, Women's Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania Backlash. She was also part of the winning team at Survivor Series WarGames. That's not all, though.
Besides her title, Belair has wrestled in many different matchups. She has wrestled against Candice LeRae, Jessie Elaban, Dakota Kai, and MJ Jenkins.
It is unclear whether Bianca will continue to be a heel in the future, but there's no denying that her character has changed. This could give her the ability to have some interesting twists in her rivalries.
While she's still young, it would be hard to deny that Bianca Belair has made some great strides in her career. As she prepares to defend her title against Alexa Bliss, she could be paving the way for a new feud or two.
The Usos were not impressed with Kevin Owens interference in their Monday Night Raw main event. Although they may be a little upset that Owens wasn't a part of the match, they still feel the need to make fun of him.
During his time in ROH, Kevin Owens was considered a big time wrestler. But, he changed his tune once he met Cornette and Generico. That didn't sit well with his friends and family.
Nevertheless, Owens won several pay-per-view matches, including the aforementioned US Championship and the NXT title. He also was selected to be a part of the World's Cutest Tag Team.
Despite this, Owens still managed to be a jerk. He once attacked Neville, Cesaro, and Rusev with no reason. Afterward, he was in anti-ROH mode.
It's no secret that Owens is a bully. He takes out his frustrations on his loser. In fact, he has robbed these three men.
In his own words, he has a "slasher smile" when he sees his opponents. Another esoteric thing he has done is to claim that he has sold over 60 shirts in PWG. However, when it comes to the number of shirts he actually sold, he's not quite as believable as he should be.
Kevin Owens has also argued that Vince McMahon screwed him over, claiming he didn't deserve to win the US Championship. While this claim is ludicrous, the idea isn't that far off.
Lastly, Owens' claim of having been part of the most notable event in PWG has to be weighed against his infamous interference in the World's Cutest Tag Team match.
This is no surprise, because he's been known to start fights without a very good reason. His infamous punching of Dean Ambrose in the jaw during their match for the TLC 2020 championship was no exception.
If you've been wondering how long is Monday Night Raw in person 2023, then you've come to the right place. This week's episode features a six man elimination match. The winner will be the one to receive the WWE United States Championship in the next episode.
There were plenty of big names at this show, from Brock Lesnar to John Cena to Seth Rollins. But there was also a surprising return to the ring, as Bronson Reed made his WWE debut. Despite being a surprise, he managed to pull out a win.
A few other notable wrestlers appeared, including Roman Reigns. Earlier in the evening, Reigns had legitimate emergency hernia surgery. Now he's documenting his recovery. In addition, Cody Rhodes is returning for the Royal Rumble.
The main event was a strong one. AJ Styles had the best moment of the night. Among other things, he hit the RKO on AJ Styles. Moreover, he also made a statement about the upcoming Night of Champions.
As for the match itself, it was a solid effort from both sides. At the end of the day, it was not enough for Rollins to pull off the win. He was disqualified for shoving the referee.
Another gimmick was the six man elimination match. Dolph Ziggler, Finn Balor, Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin and The Miz were all in the running for the championship. Although there were some technical flaws in the bout, it wasn't a bad idea.
There was also a lot to be said about the other matches. One of the best was the Six Man Elimination Match. The match featured a lot of high-flying action.
WWE has revealed a full list of former Superstars who will appear at the 30th anniversary of Monday Night Raw. A special event, titled 'RAW Is XXX', will take place on January 23 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
There will be a host of legendary superstars on this special night. The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Teddy Long, and Hulk Hogan are all on the list.
Many of these former superstars are still a part of the company in different ways. For instance, Ric Flair has continued to compete and will be back on the show. He will be making his first televised appearance in WWE since 2021.
Despite this absence, there are several others who have already confirmed that they will be at the anniversary show. Others include Paul Heyman, the Rock, and Brock Lesnar.
Several other legends have been rumored to be appearing. However, many of these names are just rumors at this point. It's unclear which of these will actually show up at the show.
WWE has also announced several big matches for the card. One of them is the Steel Cage match, which will be between Bayley and Becky Lynch. Another is the United States Championship, which will be defended by Austin Theory against Bobby Lashley.
In addition to the big matches, there will be live events throughout the evening. These will include the Road to WrestleMania.
The special event is scheduled for January 23, 2023, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Tickets will be available for sale starting November 18.
The upcoming WWE Raw special event will be one of the most memorable nights in the history of the show. This anniversary will feature a number of legendary stars and current roster athletes, including Kurt Angle, Bianca Belair, The Bellas, and more.
WWE Monday night raw has been providing the best entertainment on Monday nights for over 30 years now. This series draws thousands of fans to major arenas. The show has also been featured on online streaming services.
There are many ways to get tickets to a Raw event. One of the cheapest options is to purchase tickets from a secondary ticket marketplace. Some of the better options are Vivid Seats and CheapoTicketing.
Another great resource is an interactive seating map. These sites allow you to sort by seat, price, row, or section. You can even compare the same tickets on other websites.
As a general rule, upper level seats will be cheaper than lower level seats. However, this is not always true. If you want to see the action up close, it may be worth your while to pay a bit more to sit on the ring side.
For the more pampered fan, you can purchase suite access. This will allow you to view the action in style. Be sure to check the ticket office for suite availability.
One of the more interesting things about WWE is the sheer number of special events and shows that are scheduled on a regular basis. Check out the website for a complete listing of all of the shows, dates, and venues. Buying a ticket early is a good way to ensure that you don't miss out.
The best way to find WWE: Raw tickets is through CheapoTicketing. This company offers tickets to all of the major events in the WWE universe. They offer an interactive seating map and the best selection of tickets for these events.
There are a lot of reasons to like Smackdown over Raw. The first is that Smackdown is not just about the title matches, it is also about the storylines. For example, we will see Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley going at it in the Royal Rumble this year. And we will also have Alexa Bliss versus Bianca Belair in a tag match.
Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley on Smackdown 2023 will be a match that WWE fans are looking forward to. It has been a long time since these two met, but the pair is expected to battle once again.
The pair fought at the Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia and Brock won the match. After the bout, the pair reunited with Paul Heyman. They also talked about plans for the future of the match.
Lashley has been a big opponent for Brock in recent years. He has a 15-2 record in MMA. During the match, he was able to put him on the ropes on numerous occasions.
On the flip side, Lesnar has had a successful career in the WWE, with over 300 matches. Although he hasn't been seen on television in over two months, he is expected to return. Fortunately, his work schedule isn't too taxing.
Earlier this year, rumors circulated about a potential match between Lesnar and Lashley. Since then, there have been no official announcements regarding the match. However, the match is still very promising for the Triple H era.
Lashley's biggest rival this year was Brock. Initially, Lesnar was scheduled to face Roman Reigns on Day 1 of the Royal Rumble. But when Reigns tested positive for COVID-19, the match was changed.
The match between Lesnar and Lashley was a solid win for Brock. There were some concerns about how the match was treated. Nevertheless, it was a great match.
If you were to pick one tag team match from the past year to sum up, it would be the Usos versus Hit Row. The former are a SmackDown-based group, who have laid waste to the WWE locker room. They are former World Champions. This is also a very good match.
But, in order to truly understand the Usos' blitzkrieg against Hit Row, we're going to have to take a look at the main event of the night. Aside from the usual suspects, we'll see the return of Finn Balor, who was eliminated last week, and Dominik Mysterio, who stepped in for him.
While the main event is not without its share of controversy, the match did manage to show off a number of interesting and innovative moves. One of them was the 450 Splash.
Another was the tornado DDT. These are just a few of the many excellent and entertaining matches of the evening. We'll get back to the main event, which should prove to be one of the best in the past year.
The music for this match was a bit different. It started with the aforementioned Stunner, but instead of landing on the ring floor, it came off the announce table. As a result, Kevin Owens landed on the floor and brawled with The Usos.
There were several other notable moments in this match, but perhaps the most impressive was a slick cover by Jimmy Uso. That's a very impressive feat, and it was the first time since the mid-90s that the "Swap" has been used in a match.
It is safe to say that the first time you saw the WWE's MVP make his debut was an evening to remember. A group of SmackDown-based challengers threw the WWE's A-team into a frenzy in the locker room. They also showed up to the ring to pin the Truth.
However, the match that truly defined the show was the one between MVP and Lashley. Although the MVP threw a few zingers at Lashley, he didn't stand a chance. For instance, the MVP's feigned injury slowed down the action enough for Lashley to make a comeback. The match ended when Lashley made the match winning move of all matches.
The match is also notable because it was the first time that Omos got a real taste of the spotlight. Having been out of the limelight for nearly a year, the former RAW star stepped up to the plate to claim the trophy of the night. In the process, he showed Lashley what a true superstar looks like. During the match, Lashley showed off some of his sexiest moves including a top rope flip off the rope and a reverse STO. Afterwards, the WWE Superstar and his entourage strutted away to the next arena.
Among the most interesting elements of the match are the interactions between MVP and Lashley. The former made the most of his opportunities and the latter threw him off his game. Eventually, a win by a count of two earned him the title of the new face of the company.
Bianca Belair has become a staple of the WWE women's division. She's been a true star and is a contender for a title. Despite being a relatively new talent, she's made a name for herself.
Her career began with NXT. Eventually, she made her way to Smackdown. In 2022, she won a number of matches. As a former track and field athlete, she's a fitness competitor.
She has become the top challenger for the Raw Women's Championship. She has fought Bayley and Ronda Bryan. She was even drafted to Smackdown in 2021. Although she's had a difficult time, she's done well.
This year, Alexa Bliss is taking steps to turn the dark side of her personality on her opponent. At WrestleMania 38, she defeated Becky Lynch. She's also been battling with Bray Wyatt.
In 2022, Triple H and Vince McMahon had a lot of trouble booking women's matches. The roster was depleted and a number of injuries occurred. So, while there were a lot of great matches, there were also a number of not-so-great ones.
After Alexa Bliss beat her, she decided to go to therapy. She said that she knew that both Bray Wyatt and Bliss were capable of doing better. But she didn't believe them. When the Raw video screen flickered, Belair got out of the ring.
Since then, she has been stalked by Bray Wyatt. She's been attacked, hit with a vase and left the ring. Apparently, she's possessed.
In a surprising move, Charlotte Flair made a surprise return to WWE last week. The former Divas champion had been missing from the ring since her defeat to Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash.
Charlotte entered the women's Royal Rumble match as the 17th entrant. She lasted 33 minutes and 47 seconds, but she didn't even qualify for the final round of eliminations.
When she returned, she brought new entrance music and a slew of new ring gear. And, as of now, she doesn't have a single opponent lined up for the 2023 Royal Rumble. But she could turn into a villain at the next pay-per-view.
Before Charlotte Flair's shocking return, she was one of the few women on the main roster who had never won a Royal Rumble match. After losing the Women's Tag Team Championship to Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble PPV, she was looking for a second victory.
While she did not win a title, Charlotte did defeat Ronda Rousey to retain her SmackDown Women's title at WrestleMania. Her title reign was the first for any woman to do so.
Despite her surprise return, it wasn't the most popular moment in wrestling. Fans were hoping for a babyface moment from her. It's a role she's taken on well in the past, but she needs to define herself more.
Charlotte Flair is a former Divas Champion and a fourteen-time World Champion. She is also the daughter of the legendary wrestler Ric Flair.
There's no doubt that Sting made a splash in his debut match for AEW. However, he's also been a bit elusive on the AEW front. It's only been recently that the AEW community has been able to find out the extent of his involvement.
First, we had a great tag team match between The Acclaimed and Top Flight. Afterwards, Austin Gunn came out and talked about how they made The Acclaimed popular. He also said that they are family.
In the main event, we had Brian Cage and Darby Allin. Neither of them were too happy with the other, but that's not the reason they're battling it out.
The top prize in the match was the AEW World Title. Danielson was tasked with winning every match on Dynamite until early February. While he didn't quite meet his challenge, he did make a strong case for why he deserves the title.
As a result, he's got a 60-minute Ironman Match to look forward to. Hopefully, he wins every match on Dynamite in the process.
For this match, AEW had some interesting guests. Firstly, they had Penelope Ford in the ring. Secondly, they had Kip Sabian join them in the broadcast booth. This was the first time he's done it.
Aside from the AEW World Title, they had a great Tag Team Title match. Both teams doubled each other up in the middle of the ring.
If you want to know who won the Smackdown tag team championship at day 1 2023, you are in the right place. This article will talk about the main event of the show as well as some of the other matches. You will also learn about the women's championship.
As the title suggests, Cathy Kelley was back in the business on a full time basis in the early 21st century. She was not alone in the enclave, either. Having made a splash in the promotional circuits, she has been able to take her shot at the top of the tree. With a stable of high-profile partners in tow, it looks like a new chapter is on the horizon. Amongst the most notable names are Finn Balor, Austin Theory and Johnny Gargano, to name a few. In fact, a new promotion abounds in a glitzy new offices in the heart of the Stamford suburb. A new era is upon us as of late, and Cathy is a natural fit.
It is safe to say that Cathy Kelley is more than satisfied with her new found gig. Although she is still working her way through the WWE's newest tier, she is looking forward to the new challenges that lie ahead. Amongst them is a chance to work with a top-flight cast and crew. Indeed, she is proud to be back in the saddle, and is stoked about the nitty gritty details of her new gig. The perks include a posh office space and an unfettered view of the latest and greatest that is WWE. If it wasn't for a slew of nagging medical issues, Cathy might even have a second life in the ring.
Cesaro has had a great week. He's gotten some big wins, and his spots were really good. And his match with John Cena was pretty good too.
The other day, I watched a match that was advertised as the WWE Elimination Chamber. It wasn't very exciting, but it did have a cool spot.
For the first time in a long while, we saw a tag team match that wasn't all about the number one contender. We also saw a couple of new faces. But, the best part was the fact that they were all in the same ring.
In the middle of the match, the Shield came out. They're usually a pretty decent team, and they're even better when they're on TV. So they had to be good to win.
The other team was Los Matadores. They rolled up three heels in one match.
Another interesting moment was when Ryback nailed a Shell Shock on Truth. This was actually a cool and clever move by Ryback.
One of the reasons that this was a cool move is because the other guys in the match were also doing it. Besides, the Shellshock was a very impressive move.
Another good move by Ryback was a delayed suplex on Dolph Ziggler. He was a bit off in the middle of the match, but he fought back with a Powerbomb into the ring.
The main event of the first night of the 2023 WWE Crown Jewel was a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship rematch between Alexa Bliss and Asuka and Damage Control. This is the first match to take place since the two teams faced off in August. Aside from the title match, there were many other matches and storylines that took place.
While Damage CTRL has had a tough go in the past few weeks, they are still looking to take over the women's division. They also had an opportunity to do this last week when they faced off with RAW Women's Champion Bianca Belair.
After an intense exchange of strikes, the pair began to scrap. Meanwhile, the rest of Damage Control regrouped on the floor. It didn't take long for the two factions to start an attack on Belair.
At one point, Nikki Cross showed up out of nowhere and hit a top rope neckbreaker on Alexa Bliss. She then drilled the fisherman's neckbreaker. But, as she was getting ready to execute her move, Asuka came out to save her.
In the meantime, Kai and Sky won the WWE Women's Tag Team titles from Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez. Bayley and Sasha Banks retained the Friday Night SmackDown titles.
The two teams competed for the titles again in Saudi Arabia on Monday Night RAW. While they had a chance to win the title, the battle ended in defeat for their respective teams.
The Usos defeated Sheamus and Drew McIntyre to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships on SmackDown. They also announced that they would face the Judgment Day on RAW.
Jimmy Uso started the match with a surprise announcement. The Bloodline had come to town, but they were not going to let The Usos get away with it. And they were going to make Kevin Owens' life hell.
The Usos came out and began beating on the two stagehands. They then hit Sheamus with the 1D. That was the best moment of the night. Later, they beat Butch with the Stunner.
After the match, the crowd exploded with a big reaction. A large number of fans were cheering the Usos on, and it was a great way to start off SmackDown.
In the next match, Baron Corbin made his entrance. He fought over Kevin Owens and tried to block the superkick to the jaw. However, he was knocked to the mat by Owens. This left him free to attack Corbin, and the crowd responded to the big right hand.
The Usos defended their titles in a fast-paced main event. They were the only team to beat both teams. Their win was a surprise, as The Brawling Brutes were supposed to partner with Celtic Warrior and Drew McIntyre.
Meanwhile, Roman Reigns entered the ring and introduced himself. He also talked about how The Usos are his favorite tag team, and he challenged them to a third-time Royal Rumble match.
Judgment Day and the Usos are set for a big battle on Raw. The Usos are the longest-reigning tag team champions in WWE history and they are putting their titles on the line. This is a good time to take a look at how the two teams are faring.
Judgment Day is a team composed of Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio. The team was formed by Edge, but they lost their supernatural elements when Edge was expelled. They have gained a lot of likability over the past year and have become more comedic than ever.
Despite being a team with no real credibility, they have been able to perform well in the ring. They were a big part of the RAW Tag Team Division winning last week and they are ready for a big shot at the Raw Tag Team Titles.
The Judgement Day also made a good move by winning the Tag Team Turmoil match on Raw. It was a great way to use some of the time on the show and they got a lot of praise for their performance.
The Judgement Day are now number one contenders for the Raw Tag Team Championships and they will face the Usos in a big match next week. Unfortunately, they are not the #1 contenders for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles, which is disappointing.
If you don't know, Bayley is a professional wrestler. She started her career with Big Time Wrestling in 2008 as Davina Rose. Then she got drafted to WWE as part of the Superstar Shake-up. In the process, she also became a member of the NXT developmental system.
At the end of her career in NXT, she became a successful wrestler. She eventually won the SmackDown Women's Title, becoming the first female to win the title in both Raw and SmackDown.
Now she's in her own stable, Damage CTRL, with fellow women's wrestlers Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. They're now the new Women's Tag Team Champions in the WWE.
After they were announced as the winner, they made their way to the ring. Bayley wore an IYO SKY jersey. It's pretty obvious that she is a fangirl.
When she got into the ring, she mixed up with Sasha Banks. Her and Banks would hold the WWE Tag Team Titles until Wrestlemania 35.
After she won the title, she cashed her contract on Charlotte Flair to claim the SmackDown Women's Title. Shortly thereafter, she turned heel. However, she won the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match and went on to win the title.
Before the match, she was interviewed backstage. She said that she is not the person who was supposed to be the leader of the Horsewomen. She also said that Lynch took her spot on Raw.
The smackdown tag team championship is a highly contested title that has been won by a variety of different teams in the WWE. This is especially true when it comes to the New Day and the Usos who have both claimed it multiple times. However, there are several other teams that have been considered a contender for the title. For example, Bobby Lashley, Austin Theory, Chad Gable, and Damian Priest.
The SmackDown Tag Team Titles have been won by Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Both are former WWE superstars. But the two men have had a rough relationship with one another.
After a lengthy feud that began in April, both men joined the WWE's main roster. As a result, they became rivals in recent weeks.
Owens and Zayn's first match together was a memorable one. They fought hard in the ring, and Zayn avenged his December 30 defeat to Owens. This time, the two men were on the same side of the ring, and shared the same hotels.
It started early in the evening. Zayn was shocked to learn that he was going to be on the main roster. He was surprised when he learned that Cena and Owens would be teaming up.
Backstage, Kevin Owens accused Roman Reigns of orchestrating this match. However, Reigns defended his position, saying that he had nothing to do with it.
Meanwhile, Sami Zayn had a chance to speak to Paul Heyman, and he buys it. Afterward, he said he'll do whatever he can to win the SmackDown tag title.
Later, the Usos attacked. They kicked and punched Owens, and cleared the announce table. One of them hit a superplex, but it was blocked.
After a commercial break, a newcomer entered. He was Rey Mysterio. His entry made the fans cheer.
If you were a fan of Raw, you are probably aware of Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory. Both of these two stars were on the WWE brand back in the 1990s, and they are bringing it back with them now. They have unfinished business with one another. This will be the main event of the 30th anniversary edition of Raw.
Bobby Lashley was a four-time TNA/Impact World Heavyweight Champion, and he has recently returned to the WWE. He has been on the warpath to regain his title. The former WWE champ will face Austin Theory in the upcoming Six-Way Elimination Match. Hopefully, he will be able to do so.
It's no secret that Bobby Lashley has a lot of bad blood with Austin Theory. This was evident in the match. However, he did earn a shot at the United States Championship with his victory.
As for the title itself, it will be awarded to the winner of a six-way elimination match. Besides the two superstars, the other contestants include Dolph Ziggler, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Baron Corbin, and The Miz.
The two superstars will face off at Survivor Series. Before the match, Austin Theory will be on commentary. At the end of the match, the referee will determine who is the winner.
In the match, the two superstars put on a show. Rollins and Ziggler worked as a team, and delivered several impressive moves. After a quick exchange of blows, Ziggler popped his head off the table and hit Miz with a spike DDT.
In the last eight months, WWE has built up the Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns match for WrestleMania 38. It was expected to be one of the most important matches of the year.
The main event at WrestleMania 38 did not live up to the hype. Despite a few bloopers, it was a highly physical contest. There were two Superman punches and an F-5. But in the end, it was not enough.
Even before the match started, a lot of fans were predicting that Roman Reigns would beat Brock Lesnar. During the buildup, Roman was portrayed as an unstoppable force. He was on top of the SmackDown roster and was the top pick to win the Royal Rumble.
But despite being a WWE Superstar, Roman Reigns had been ignored by many fans. This led to some speculation about whether the bout would be cancelled. After Brock Lesnar defeated the Usos, the two superstars agreed to fight each other.
In the buildup, the match was advertised as the biggest WrestleMania main event of all time. However, it was overshadowed by the buzz surrounding Braun Strowman. Aside from being a distraction, it provided little 'wow' factor.
Instead of a good-old-fashioned feud, the match was more of a building block for Reigns' title ascent. Brock had been tipped to have a long reign with the title. His performance at Summerslam was also considered a turning point in his career.
The Usos are the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions and they have held the SmackDown title for more than 540 days. Now, they will defend their titles against The Judgment Day on Monday Night Raw.
After defeating The Street Profits, Judgment Day made their way to the main event. Their victory was an immediate statement and they earned a shot at the RAW Tag Team Championship. They will face the winners of a tag team tournament next week. This will determine who challenges The Usos for the title.
After the match, Dean Pearce spoke with both the Judgment Day and the Usos. He told them that their win would give the team more exposure and that they should be given a chance to show their stuff at the Royal Rumble.
On the same episode, Finn Balor and Damien Priest also made their way to the main event. Their victories over Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows paved the way for a shot at the Raw Tag Team Championship. But that wasn't all for them. Akira Tozawa was there too, and he asked for a match.
As for the match itself, the main event did not disappoint. It featured some of the best tag team action of the year. There was a flurry of action. All five teams in the tag team gauntlet, including the Street Profits and Alpha Academy, were involved.
The WWE Tag Team Titles are generally contested in professional wrestling matches. Generally, a team wins the title by pinning the opponent, securing a pin, or by finishing off the opponent's move in a scripted way. This year's tag team title is up for grabs on the Raw brand.
Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio are known as Judgment Day. They have been a tag team for years, and they have made their name in the past, most notably when they defended the WWE Tag Team Championship against Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit at No Mercy in 2002.
At the time, the Usos were also champions. They had won the titles in their third reign. After winning their first historic run, they beat RK-Bro in Grand Rapids, Michigan. But they were drafted to Raw.
When they got to Raw, they got a flat reaction, but they were given a chance to redeem themselves. First, they got to challenge the winner of the 2023 Royal Rumble. In addition, they were given a shot at the Six Pack Challenge.
While they were busy getting the crowd behind them, The Judgment Day made their way to the ring. The two teams had been playing mind games for the past few weeks, but they were finally ready to go at it.
With the help of Rhea Ripley, they distracted the referee, which allowed Dom to take out Priest with a front slam. Priest managed to get out of the hold, but was quickly countered by a suplex from Gable.
The New Day have a unique style and have brought a different element to pro wrestling. They're huge crowd favorites and are definitely one of the most entertaining tag teams in pro wrestling history.
They're also the longest-reigning tag team in WWE. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have held the titles for a total of 15 years.
Despite their success, Booker T has been critical of them. He's also known to attack NXT talent. But there are future big stars such as Cora Jade, Shinsuke Nakamura, Carmell Hayes, and Kevin Owens.
They've also been criticized by Big E. However, he's in recovery from a serious neck injury. There's no word on his return date.
They're currently the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship at Extreme Rules. However, their title reign could be cut short if they don't win.
Since winning the tag team titles in 2015, The New Day have been represented at every WWE event. They're even in the fatal four-way for the title at WrestleMania 31.
They've also been involved in feuds with the Wyatt Family, the League of Nations, and the Brass Ring Club. While they've been criticized, they've also helped define WWE.
Despite the challenges, the tag team has been a major hit. As they've built their legacy, they've become the biggest crowd favorites in WWE.
They're now arguably the greatest tag team in wrestling history. Their success has been reflected in the Triple Crown that they won at NXT Deadline 2022.
Smackdown is a professional wrestling show produced by WWE. The show is filmed in the New York area and is broadcast on the USA Network. It is one of the largest wrestling shows in the world and is known for bringing in some of the best wrestlers from around the world. This year's telecast featured a main event match between Rey Mysterio and Angel. Other highlights included Charlotte Flair fighting Sonya Deville, the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, Braun Strowman, and more.
Raquel Rodriguez won a Gauntlet Match on the December 23rd Smackdown to become the number one contender for the Smackdown Women's Championship. It was her first singles title match since May.
She was able to win the match in a roll up pin over Shayna Baszler. The match was supposed to end with a tag team main event, but Ronda Rousey hyped a Smackdown Women's Title bout between Raquel Rodriguez and Sonya Deville.
In the semi-finals, Rodriguez and Aliyah beat Natalya and Sonya Deville. They then won a six-pack challenge against Kai and Sky. However, Bayley distracted Shotzi, and she was eliminated.
Raquel Rodriguez went on to face Xia Li in the next part of the Gauntlet Match. She was initially thrown off the apron by Li, and caught a spinning roundhouse kick. After a break, Li laid in kicks and tried to cover.
Despite her arm being wrapped up, Raquel was able to power through. She hit a corkscrew elbow off the second rope, and then she hit a fallaway slam on Xia Li.
During the most recent SmackDown episode, Bray Wyatt was given an opportunity to demonstrate his knowledge of the universe, as well as his ability to show off his wits. However, he made a bad decision that drew widespread attention from fans, as well as the media.
Earlier this year, the LA Knight challenged Bray Wyatt to a match at the Royal Rumble. However, Wyatt turned down the offer. Instead, he has been involved in a verbal feud with the swashbuckling villain, who has been on the warpath since January.
The upcoming Pitch Black match is expected to bring Wyatt's name back to the forefront of WWE's consciousness. While it is unclear if this will occur, the bout is expected to be held in conjunction with Mountain Dew's Pitch Black flavor. In addition, it will also be the first-ever Pitch Black match.
To get the ball rolling, Bray Wyatt was given a special gimmick. As the music played, a man in a red hooded suit appeared and walked to the back of the ring. A screen behind the man flashed the words "Wyatt" and "Uncle Howdy," and a clip of the same appeared on the monitor.
Charlotte Flair has been making her comeback to the WWE after a seven-month hiatus, but has she returned to the ring with the best of them? In a surprise move, Charlotte Flair defended her SmackDown Women's Title against Sonya Deville on the January 6th episode of SmackDown. The title is set to be defended again at the WWE Royal Rumble 2023.
Previously, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose had been working on SmackDown as Fire and Desire. They were drafted to the main roster in November 2017 after being eliminated from Tough Enough.
When Deville and Rose were on the blue brand, they competed in a number of singles and tag team matches. This included a six-woman tag team match against Mandy Rose and Paige. However, the two were later drafted to the SmackDown brand.
Before the two were drafted to the main roster, they made a name for themselves as a pair of heel wrestlers. One of their more notable matches was a win over Mickie James.
When Paul Heyman was interviewed, he was asked if there was one thing that he could say that was of the greatest significance, and the answer was surprisingly simple: The Island of Relevancy. If you want to be relevant, you have to be three steps ahead.
One of the best ways to achieve this is to have a great show. And what better way to do this than to have a show that features the latest and greatest in the pro wrestling world?
Aside from being one of the top talents in the game, Heyman has an impressive list of accomplishments. From being an executive to a photographer to a commentator, he has made his mark on the industry as a whole.
One of his most notable accomplishments was being the lead writer of SmackDown!, a position he held from July 2002 to February 2003. While on the job, he was also responsible for the infamous Royal Rumble betrayal. He was also the creative force behind Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), a revolutionary promotion he helped make in the late 1990s.
Rey Mysterio has been in a lot of wrestling matches. His biggest wins include the World Heavyweight and United States titles. He has also won a pair of tag team championships.
One of his first matches was on the Mexican CMLL. In this match, he defeated his uncle Hector Garza. This was the start of his feud with his uncle.
Rey Mysterio has worked with many wrestlers over the years, including CM Punk and Eddie Guerrero. During this time, he also became a member of the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). CMLL is a lucha libre promotion in Mexico.
Then in June 2002, Rey signed with World Wrestling Entertainment. Since then, he has had many great matches. Among his most memorable matches are the match against Dolph Ziggler and Maria Kanellis, the Survivor Series elimination match against Team HHH, the Royal Rumble, and his fight against Angel Garza on SmackDown.
It was a night of great matches on Friday Night SmackDown. The main event featured a great tag team match between the Viking Raiders and The Usos. After that, the show went off with a bang. There were also two other noteworthy segments.
First, the montage of Bray Wyatt's feud with LA Knight was shown. He also came to the ring for his first official Smackdown appearance in over a month. His entry took a little over 2 minutes and he was greeted by a crowd of fans.
Aside from the usual brawls and backstage brawls, there were two matches that caught our eye. One was a good match, while the other was a fun attack.
In the ring, the match between The Usos and The Viking Raiders was a winner. They knocked out their opponents with 1-D and a double-superkick. Afterward, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre were seen in Adam Pearce's office.
Sami Zayn has been in a lot of wrestling news lately. He was on the wrong side of Roman Reigns at Survivor Series and he will be on SmackDown tonight. This has led to some conspiracy rumors and a bit of paranoia.
Previously, he has been working with The Bloodline, a group of performers headed by Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns. It also includes The Usos and Solo Sikoa.
He has had a long history with the group, but he was stymied at one point when Kevin Owens interfered. In fact, Owens argued that the Bloodline had crashed Monday Night Raw.
Eventually, though, Zayn made a surprise return at Raw after Wrestlemania 35. After the match, he claimed to be the real champion.
In the end, he was the only person to face consequences. Apparently, the "Meaning of the Ring" aficionado wasn't satisfied with that.
That said, Sami has been an obnoxious heel lately. His actions have even put Stephanie McMahon on edge. She has made it known that she doesn't like Zayn.
Batista's name has been around for a while now, but he's not a household name. He was the final pick in the 2005 WWE draft lottery, and he was drafted to SmackDown.
But he made a surprising appearance in the middle of a feud between Triple H and Ric Flair. After an in-ring confrontation between the two, Batista and Triple H made peace backstage. It was not long after the two matched that they agreed to face each other at The Great American Bash.
Batista defeated Randy Orton and Ric Flair in a Steel Cage match. They had to battle for a spot in the Elimination Match. However, the match was a draw.
In the meantime, Batista continued to chase the World Heavyweight Championship. He won the Royal Rumble in 2005. And, while he did not win the title, he did defeat the Undertaker.
Batista also had a major role in the Over The Top Rope Challenge. In this challenge, the winner would face the Undertaker at Judgment Day.
When Braun Strowman came into the WWE, he didn't have a storyline. His main focus was his size and power. But he was able to make a mark. Eventually, he was hired by Stephanie McMahon, a former WWE employee. He worked under the ring name "Braun Strowman" and performed on the SmackDown brand.
During the first three months of his career, he was a part of the Wyatt Family. The team defeated Heath Slater, The Usos, Bo Dallas, and others. As a member of the Wyatt family, he had a good run. On the other hand, he also had a feud with Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn.
After a long time of working as a mechanic, he decided to compete in the WWE. He had no plans for WrestleMania. However, he did not have a great start. His biggest win was the elimination of Elias. This was followed by a victory over Ty Dillinger.
If you're interested in finding out when and where Smackdown is scheduled to be held in the future, you're going to want to know what dates are scheduled. Here are a few matches that you can expect to see during the week of November 4, 2022 to 2023.
Braun Strowman has been known to be a tough opponent for any wrestler. He has made a name for himself in WWE as the "monster among men," and has been portrayed as such by his fans.
Braun Strowman has made his mark on the wrestling world as one of the greatest champions of the past decade. He has been in a number of championship matches, including one against Brock Lesnar for the Universal title at SummerSlam.
At WrestleMania 33, Strowman defeated the Big Show in a steel cage match. Braun also won the first Greatest Royal Rumble in WWE history. After winning the Royal Rumble, he challenged Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal title. However, he was defeated by Roman Reigns.
Strowman then went on to lose the Universal title at SummerSlam. Several WWE stars would travel to Saudi Arabia for the Crown Jewel PLE.
Braun Strowman has been released from WWE. He is now working with WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. It is expected that he will be in action at the Crown Jewel PLE.
As a WWE Superstar, Strowman has been working with the SmackDown Live brand. In the summer of 2013, he signed a developmental deal with WWE. With that, he adopted the ring name "Braun Stowman."
Strowman was originally assigned to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, but was later moved to the Orlando Arena. Before moving to the Orlando Arena, he worked at the WWE Performance Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Then, he became a star on the WWE's SmackDown Live brand on FOX.
During his tenure with WWE, he was a part of the Wyatt Family. His tag team partner was Erick Rowan. Besides working on the SmackDown brand, Strowman also appeared on NXT.
The New Day and the Brawling Brutes teamed up to take on the Usos in a six-man tag team match. In the end, the Usos won the match and took the titles. They claimed to be the longest reigning tag team champions in WWE history.
The Usos were also given a chance to defend their titles against the New Day. However, the match was interrupted by the Bloodline. Afterward, the trio left the arena in a brawl.
The New Day and The Bloodline worked well together. The match included great near falls, fun combinations, and a monster champion.
There were a lot of big in-ring segments and major newsworthy moments. Despite all of the excitement, the match itself was not a slam dunk. It's still a good match that should be a lot of fun.
Backstage, Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa seemed to even the odds. Both men were able to hype up their teams. One said the Bloodline is in your city, while the other said that the Brawling Brutes were the best team in the world.
During the match, Sheamus threw a Chop onto Jey. He then hit a Pump Kick on the young superstar. And he did it for the right reasons!
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods also came out and talked about the Bloodline and the new challengers. These two will be in Indianapolis to try and break the record.
Meanwhile, the SmackDown World Cup is set to begin. Eight men will compete in the tournament. Ultimately, the winner will be crowned the first-ever SmackDown World Champion. This is all part of Triple H's plan to increase the spotlight on his superstars.
The SmackDown main event featured an impressive display of smackdown. This included the debut of an American wrestler, Shaun Ricker, who is signed to World Wrestling Entertainment.
As for the match itself, it was a good one for LA Knight. He got to show off his athletic prowess, and there was a little bit of a tense moment when he slammed Ricochet into the corner.
A couple of weeks ago, LA Knight had a tense confrontation with Ricochet. During that encounter, LA made the most of his athletic ability by kicking and punching Ricochet in the ring. In the end, Ricochet's offense was the better of the two, but he didn't get the pin.
Hopefully, they'll have a more exciting match next week. Whether or not that happens is another question. If you're going to see them on Friday, make sure you're watching WWE SmackDown.
Is it possible for an individual to do the things that both Ricochet and LA Knight did? Considering that both have been signed to World Wrestling Entertainment, it's a fair question. But it's worth a shot.
One of the most impressive moves Ricochet exhibited was his hurricanrana. He did a pretty good job of it. It's not as impressive as a skydive, but it's a pretty good feat.
The other impressive move was a slingshot shoulder tackle. The referee didn't really see the move, but it was impressive nonetheless.
On the flip side, the omen was a neckbreaker. It gets the most credits for a reason.
Among the other things that Ricochet did was to show off a hurricanrana, which was a fancy name for a moonsault.
It's no secret that Ricochet and Samantha Irvin are dating. However, that doesn't stop them from teasing each other. When it came time to dive, they had a little trouble.
Xia Li has a history with Ronda Rousey. She is a Chinese professional wrestler who is signed to WWE. During her tenure on the WWE circuit, she has participated in several tournaments. In 2019, she competed in the Women's Royal Rumble match and was a part of a six-pack challenge.
Earlier this year, Li returned to WWE. On the April 8th episode of WrestleMania Axxess, she teamed up with Kavita Devi. However, the pair lost to Jessmyn Duke and Jessie Elaban. Afterward, Li teamed up with Kaira Sane and Io Shirai. They also lost to Tegan Nox and Reina Gonzalez.
Xia has also been featured in numerous house shows throughout the month of November. In October, she participated in three house shows. One of those matches was a non-title fight with Shayna Baszler. The other two matches were singles matches. Despite losing both of these matches, Li finished the year with two wins.
The former Smackdown Women's Champion is currently in a feud with former WWE Superstar Raquel Rodriguez. The two are scheduled to battle for the SmackDown Women's Championship on 30 December.
Xia Li was originally drafted to the WWE's SmackDown brand during the 2021 draft. Before her debut, she trained in martial arts and fitness. While she is a trained professional, she has a history of first place finishes in various martial arts and fitness competitions.
During her time on NXT, she participated in the second annual Mae Young Classic in 2018. As a part of a seven-woman field, she advanced to the second round of the match. Her first opponent was Liv Morgan.
Xia's career on the WWE circuit has been short. She has made three in-ring debuts.
There is a steel cage match in Riyadh between Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross that is sure to go down in the history books. And the hype train is in full force with a plethora of matches slated to be held.
The Crown Jewel 2022 event is shaping up to be a powerhouse with a number of matches to choose from. Aside from the main event, the defending Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, and the Usos will make their presence known as well.
While there is no official announcement of a brawl between The Usos and The Brawling Brutes, there is no doubt that they will be involved in a brawl of their own at some point. In addition, the three aces will be defended in singles and tag team action.
As for the match itself, it is unclear whether the McIntyre and Kross match will take place during the Crown Jewel event or just before. However, it will be held at the Crown Jewel city hall in Saudi Arabia.
It's not entirely clear if the steel cage match will be an all-out brawl or if it will be more of a back and forth affair. Regardless of the outcome, it is likely that Drew McIntyre and Karrion will have to compete in a Steel Cage Match at some point in their careers. This match is one of the most anticipated events in the SmackDown calendar and will be the main event of a two-day extravaganza. So, if you are going to be in the area, mark your calendars for November 4th. Hopefully, you will get a taste of this match while you are there.
