The Atlanta Dog Park is not your average dog park. This dog area is smaller with fewer activities but is still a nice place to visit with your dog. However, if you are looking to run with your pup, this is not the place for you. The size of this park does not allow for running. So if you are not so inclined to run with your dog, this is a nice place to go.

“One of the big things I wanted to make sure of when I started this was to create a space. Where people didn’t have to worry about their dogs,” he says. “Too many times, you go to dog parks and see bad owners, unsocial dogs, and aggressive dogs. At Fetch, all owners have to sign a liability waiver stating their dog is friendly. Social and up-to-date on all shots, while also accepting liability for their dogs. Fetch also has bark rangers walking around the park at all times. Make sure the pups are playing nicely, and the park is being kept clean.” (Source: atlantapetlife.com)

There are so many benefits to Dog Parks. One of the most crucial of all is the ability to get your dog exercising. Whether it is playing tennis, fetching a Frisbee, or just kicking around a soccer ball, your pet will have a blast!

Newtown Dream Dog Park, one of the top dog parks in the country, is located inside Newtown Park toward the front entrance. It is a fenced one-acre area featuring artificial turf and sprinklers for dogs. The obstacles at the park are fun for dogs to play on. Plus, the park has water fountains for people and pets in case it’s a hot Atlanta day. It offers separate areas for large and small dogs, along with benches, shelters, and shade trees.
