A Macon Georgia man, Daniel “Qwan” graduated from the University of Georgia and has danced with 13TH Floor Performing Arts in South Africa, The Seldoms, Jump Rhythm Jazz, Five Star Boogie, Lucky Plush and Culture Shock Chicago. When he’s not making music videos with Kanye West, he teaches full-time and judges on the weekends. Mr. Gibson debuted with Crash as a guest artist in 2007, was promoted to performing apprentice in 2008 and served as a full company member 2009-2015. Daniel Gibson is the only Performance Ensemble Member in history to have a Season production named after him.

Daniel Gibson (b. 1977, Yuma, AZ) grew up in El Centro, CA, and other surrounding towns that border Mexicali, Baja California. Both of Gibson's parents immigrated from Mexico, settling in the American southwest and leading to Gibson's early inspiration from his exposure to the desert and communities, raised at a sheet rock factory in Plaster City, CA, where his father worked. Gibson’s output is bred by his indispensable draw towards creation, an expressive therapeutic flow of visions and beliefs, real life situations and dreams, comprising a combination of elements incomparably extricated and productively gifted. In the final game, game 4 of the 2007 NBA Finals, Daniel Gibson had a decent game, dropping 10 points to an eventual loss to the San Antonio Spurs. The series would be a sweep. He shot 4-10 from the field, and 2 for 6 from three. Daniel Gibson averaged 0 turnovers for the entire finals, and was the third leading scorer for the Cavaliers at 10.8 points per game behind Drew Gooden at 12.8 points a game. However, Daniel Gibson struggled defensively guarding Tony Parker who averaged 24.5 points a game and a finals MVP Trophy.
