It’s been a long time since a wrestling game tried to be about more than just the characters. With the newest pack, known as the “Future Stars Pack,” WWE 2K19 finally reaches that milestone. This pack is a collaboration between WWE, NXT and 205 Live, bringing fresh blood to the WWE 2K19 roster.

Explore more than 50 in-game moves, including the Atomic Drop into Double Leg Combo (made popular by WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy); the Exploder vs. Opponent on the Apron (made popular by NXT Superstar Tyler Bate); the Slingshot X-Factor (made popular by 205 Live Superstar Mustafa Ali); and the Assisted Twist of Fate, Avalanche Splash & Side Effect Combo and the Senton & Leg Drop Combo (made popular by WWE Superstars Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt);

The Man of the Hour also makes his video game debut, as Lio Rush kept me pleasantly surprised. His frog splash finisher even has the bounce back that we see Rush often perform on 205 Live. I was more than happy to pull off an in ring Spanish Fly that I’ve seen Rush pull off at an indie show, leaving my jaw on the floor. It will be fun for players to pair Rush with Bobby Lashley as a manager as well. However, I did not see manager attire available for the M.O.T.H. (Source: thepopbreak.com)

As far as the WWE 2K19 Rising Stars pack release date, January 22 is the official time to get that DLC. That’s just 11 days away, but a week ahead of the big WWE Royal Rumble weekend. Some of these stars could very well pop up during the big Royal Rumble matches or other events for the weekend. Will Ricochet or Dakota Kai enter one of the main roster’s Rumble matches?

The long-awaited WWE 2K19 Rising Stars Pack is finally available today featuring the debuts of Ricochet, Candice LeRae, Lacey Evans, Dakota Kai, and Mike and Maria Kanellis as playable characters. I took a few minutes this afternoon to go over the character models, entrances, and move-sets. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. (Source: thepopbreak.com)
