ContinueTiffany Haddish issued an apology following allegations by Jane Doe in a lawsuit that she and Aries Spears groomed them to appear in sexually explicit comedy skits when they were 14 and 7 respectively. Tiffany Haddish issued the following response. What is the video all about? Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears have been charged with grooming and coercing two underage siblings into filming sexually explicit comedy skits for funny or die. A lawsuit filed on their behalf alleges that these comedians encouraged Jane and John Doe to act in sexually explicit videos featured on that platform, ultimately ending up on Funny or Die. Apparently these videos caused severe emotional trauma for Jane and John Doe; further retraumatization has occurred by viewing themselves again online. Plaintiffs claim they met Haddish and Spears at various events, such as a comedy camp where the comedians served as guest speakers. According to them, Haddish and Spears used their friendship with them to gain trust before forcing them to appear in numerous sexually explicit videos at 14 and 7 years of age respectively. Plaintiffs of this lawsuit allege that Haddish and Spears encouraged them to engage in acts of masturbation while filming other sexually explicit scenes with them without their parents present, for which they received $100 per video shoot participation fee. At Jane's first video shoot with Haddish, the latter instructed her to "give fellatio." According to the lawsuit, Jane was initially nervous and uncomfortable but felt pressured into complying. Furthermore, she was instructed not to be present during this shoot with her brother. Haddish and Spears' second video shoot at Spears' home allegedly involved holding Jane's brother while stroking his crotch with a hair brush, in order to induce sexual imagery on camera that scared away Jane's brother from taking part. According to their lawsuit, Haddish and Spears intended this act of sexual manipulation by creating this video clip which they claim elicited sexualized reactions in him which caused fear among children watching this footage. The siblings are seeking unspecified damages from the comedians as well as having their videos removed from Funny or Die. Unfortunately, the company has yet to respond. Many on social media are demanding prosecution of these comedians for their alleged actions; in fact some have even reached out to authorities asking them to take criminal action against these comedians. How did it get to this point? This video has received considerable backlash online from those who find it inappropriate and no fun whatsoever, with one person even going as far as to call it disgusting and cringe-worthy. Others have called upon authorities to investigate, hoping criminal charges against Haddish and Spears be brought for their participation in it. According to the lawsuit, Haddish and Spears first recruited their accuser at 14 to act in their sketch, Through a Pedophile's Eyes. She claims they encouraged her to perform sexually suggestive acts while filming it and paid her $100 - something which also occurred with his younger brother shortly thereafter. After this incident, she alleges she was approached by Haddish again and asked to film another sketch with Spears for Nickelodeon video, this time featuring John and his sister Britney Spears in an elaborate skit featuring sexually suggestive acts while wearing both bikinis and thongs. She claims she was forced to perform sexually suggestive actions against her will while wearing both of these outfits. TMZ reports that Spears played the part of a sexual predator while her older sister Jane Doe acted as her victim for this shoot. John went upstairs while Jane stayed downstairs; during filming of this sketch John claims Spears would rub baby oil onto his body before massaging his shoulders with massage oils while forcing him to moan and groan while wearing a bra. The two siblings have filed a civil suit, alleging that incidents at Haddish and Spears' parties have left them emotionally damaged and unable to trust anyone, while also alleging their younger brother has developed social anxiety and depression since. Furthermore, as a result of these events they have not been able to maintain friendships with other children; consequently they seek unspecified damages against Haddish and Spears. Why is it so funny? Tiffany Haddish has issued her statement regarding a controversial video clip featuring Aries Spears. The comedians have been accused of exploiting two children for sexually explicit videos when they were minors; according to an anonymous lawsuit filed by someone identified as Jane Doe, their films included sexually suggestive scenes coerced into being shot for Funny or Die videos uploaded later by these comedians. The woman alleges that her brother and she were subjected to sexual exploitation beginning in 2013, when they were 14 and 7, when invited by comedians' studios for filming of sketches on camera that involved sexual acts without parental supervision or consent. These sketches were recorded throughout 2013 and 2014 before airing on Funny or Die. According to the lawsuit, Haddish had an ongoing relationship with Jane Doe's mother and attended her comedy camp as a guest speaker and mentor for both of them. Jane Doe claims she and her brother were recruited by Haddish in 2014 to act out a sketch called "Through A Pedophile's Eyes", wherein Spears is seen watching him remove his undergarment while comedians make sexual noises and touch him inappropriately; according to Jane Doe she felt "grossly violated and embarrassed". The video clip also included Spears acting out her rendition of an imitation of another sketch called "Through A Pedophile's Eyes", with comedians making sexual noises as they make sexual noises before touching him inappropriately touching him inappropriately with their hands; according to Jane Doe she felt "grossly violated and embarrassed". Video footage of this sketch has since been posted online and shared widely by social media users, many of whom are outraged by what they see and are demanding that its comedians take responsibility. Haddish has expressed her regret over her role in the video and taken issue with those re-sharing it for salacious purposes - she believes they are exploiting victims rather than raising awareness about the situation. TMZ reports that the case is ongoing and that its alleged victim has hired an attorney to help defend herself. What do you think? Recently, it came to our attention that comedians Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears were being sued by an individual alleging they groomed her and her younger brother into performing sexually explicit skits for Funny or Die videos. According to Jane Doe's lawsuit filed by Haddish and Spears against them for this claim, Haddish and Spears recruited both Jane Doe herself (22 years old) as well as her then 7-year old brother as performers in videos created by them which then ended up on Funny or Die videos and Funny or Die videos featuring both groups as actors for videos that ended up on Funny or Die videos and then posted by them on Funny or Die's Funny or Die platform. The lawsuit alleges that Haddish first met both siblings when they were still young through their mother, who befriended her through comedy circuit connections. According to this claim, Haddish became known as "Auntie Tiff" to them both and they became familiar with her work; additionally both brothers also made videos with Haddish in 2013 and 2014. Both alleged victims say they were unaware of what was occurring while filming with comedians, according to their lawsuit. According to this video titled Through a Pedophile's Eyes, Spears dropped off her son for filming before instructing him to perform sexually suggestive acts; during which time, Spears repeatedly touched him inappropriately and the child remained naked during filming. In another alleged video from 2014 and uploaded to Funny or Die, Spears can be seen sitting atop his chair with him making sexual gestures and touching down on his back, according to the lawsuit. Spears is then accused of molestation of the child by Spears who then makes sexual advances against them and rubs down their back with sexually suggestive gestures. The alleged victim claims she is still experiencing trauma as a result of being exploited and is seeking damages from both comedians. Her lawsuit accuses them of gross negligence, sexual battery, harassment and sexual abuse of a minor - charges they both deny.
