This driver will let you reflash your TSP100 printer to a future firmware version or add a new feature. Please note, this driver won’t let you downgrade.

Go to the Star Printer website - starmicronics.com and download the latest driver for the printer. (Support - Download Drivers - Set the Product Type to TSP 100 futurePRINT. Get the full version, but be aware it is a large download and can take a while. Extract the zipped file. Go into the Windows folder and then Installer folder. There is a setup for 32 and for 64 bit. Run the one you need. The install is straight-forward, taking defaults. (Source: helpdesk.rite.us)

9. AmigoPOS can send commands to the Star TSP100 in either the Star or ESC/POS (Epson) command set. There are slight differences in the receipt output. To use the ESC/POS command set with the TSP100, open the Windows Devices and Printers folder and right-click on the Star TSP100 Cutter (TSP143).

8. Connect the printer to a free USB port on the POS station and power on the printer. The Windows Found New Hardware prompt will appear on the taskbar near the clock. After the device is installed, open the Windows Devices and Printers folder to confirm that the new printer has been installed and is on-line. (Source: help.amigopos.com)
