There's no denying that it has been a great year, with plenty to do and see all around. And the Georgia National Fair, which opens today and runs through next Saturday, is the perfect way to do it all. So if you're looking for a summertime activity, be sure to take a break at the Georgia National Fair.

The Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter is a state-owned, multipurpose 1,100+ acre rental complex open year-round. It is specially designed for meetings, trade shows, livestock and horse shows, concerts, rodeos, RV rallies, and home to the Georgia National Fair, Georgia National Junior Livestock Show and Georgia National Rodeo.

As always, Georgia Farm Bureau will have a big presence at the fair. GFB is a Premier Sponsor for the fair and provides prizes for the Georgia National Fair livestock shows and the grand champion prizes for the Market Doe, Market Wether and Market Lamb shows held at the fair that are part of the 4-H & FFA’s Georgia Junior National Livestock Show program. Hundreds of 4-H and FFA students from around the state will show cattle, goats, sheep and hogs during the fair. (Source: www.gfb.org)
