It’s safe to say that filmmaker Michael-Moore has made his choice this election year very, very plain. After all, the “Bowling for Columbine” and “Fahrenheit 9/11” director somehow found the time to create, film and release a spectacularly anti-Donald Trump film (that would be “Michael Moore in TrumpLand”) in the space of mere weeks, and he’s spent the last few weeks quite loudly stumping for Hillary Clinton for president. Michael Moore is an American documentary filmmaker and political activist. He is the founder and director of the Academy Award-winning film company, MooreUniverse, and best-selling author of fifteen books, twelve of which were international best-sellers. He is notable as a critic of U.S. corporations and the military-industrial complex, and of presidential administrations since the early Ronald Reagan years. He is the founder and principal mover behind the popular Free Moore movement.

Moore can breathe a sigh of relief that one of his predictions didn’t come to 100% fruition. In a Democracy Now! interview in December, the Fahrenheit 11/9 filmmaker said, based on his temperature of the flyover states: “If the vote were today, I believe, he would win the electoral states that he would need, because, living out there, I will tell you, his level of support has not gone down one inch. In fact, I’d say it’s even more rabid than it was before, because they’re afraid now. They’re afraid he could lose, because they watched his behavior. So they are voracious in their appetite for Donald Trump. That’s the bad news.” (Source: deadline.com)

Right-wing podcaster Tim Pool, who reportedly used his cat as a "bargaining chip in an ugly business negotiation," tweeted, "Michael- Moore supports gun violence and terrorism." Conservative pundit Dave Rubin added: "What a vile creature you have become." (Source: www.salon.com)

Another day, another Twitter feud — with the U.S. president. This week’s opponent? None other than documentarian Michael-Moore, who recently wrapped a 12-week, limited engagement run of his one-man show Terms of My Surrender, which included anecdotes and discussion panels about the state of America in “the Trumpian era.” (Source: nationalpost.com)
