FutureStarrMeet 2021's 'American Idol' Top 10 (Including a Comeback Contestant)
So far, nine of the American Idol Top 10 contestants for Season 19 have been announced. They are:
Joining them are one among the ten contestants who took part within the comeback special on April 19, all of whom are ex-Season 18 contestants being offered a second chance. Who that's has not been announced, with fans voting until April 26. within the running are Cyniah Elise, Nick Merico, Aliana Jester, Franklin Boone, Faith Becnel, Arthur Gunn, DeWayne Crocker Jr., Makayla Phillips, Olivia Ximines and Louis Knight.
At time of writing, Gunn's rendition of "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls is that the most watched of any of the comeback performances on YouTube, which could bode well for his chances, especially when combined with the big fanbase he acquired by going further than any of the second-chance contestants of last year's season.
ABC has announced what the ten contestants are going to be singing, but not who are singing what—likely to stop people guessing the returning contestant supported the kind of song they'll be doing.
The Disney classics being performed on the American Idol 2021 Disney Night are the following:
John Stamos, star of Disney+'s big gun and therefore the Little Mermaid Live will act as guest mentor. Also performing are Sofia Carson and Jon Batiste, who are singing "It's All Right" from Disney's Soul, the score that in the week won Batiste an Oscar.
By the tip of the episode, the show will have its top seven. Though Grace Kinstler had the most effective odds to be named the eventual winner for much of the show, Willie Spence edged ahead of her in mid-April to become the favourite, with odds of 11/1 (per Gold Derby). Kinstler is at 13/1, while Casey Bishop is at 14/1. Whichever comeback contestant winds up returning, their odds are currently very long at 66/1.
American Idol revealed its Top 10 within the first all-live show of the season Monday night. Seven of the contestants were chosen by America’s vote, supported Sunday night’s performances. The coaches then chose the last three supported tonight’s performances.
It was a difficult decision, as last night’s show was so strong. Luke Bryan said the contestants were making the judges’ job “incredibly hard,” and Katy Perry said she has 14 favorites, which doesn’t really narrow things down.
All of the highest 14 performed tonight, including those who were sent through by America’s vote. take a look at all the performances below, and see who made it to the highest 10.
