The long-awaited reunion of one of Latin music’s most iconic bands, Los Bukis, has announced their first tour in 25 years with a stop at AT&T Stadium on September 15th. Tickets are on sale now at SeatGeek.com.
Los Bukis (The Bukis, buki translates as Little Kid in the Yaqui language) are a Mexican Grupera band from Ario de Rosales, Michoacan. In 1975, the band was founded by cousins Marco Antonio Solís and Joel Solís. Their first song was Falso Amor ("False Love") and its style became popular throughout Latin America. Marco Antonio wrote the songs; the album "Me Volvi a Acordar de Ti" in the year of 1987 sold one million records in just a few weeks after its launch, earning the album "diamond" status. He also wrote and produced albums for artists such as Marisela, Rocío Dúrcal, Beatriz Adriana, Lucero, El Pegasso de Emilio Reyna (now using the name El Pega Pega) and María Sorté.
If you're looking for cheap Los Bukis tickets, tickets can be found for as low as $59.00. Earlier this summer, long-dormant Mexican superstars Los Bukis — whose ballads have soundtracked generations of Latino barbecues, weddings and Saturday cleaning sprees but who last performed some 25 years ago — shocked their fans by announcing a comeback tour, “Una Historia Cantada” (A History in Song). The shows kick off on Aug. 27 at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium.
