Synopsis

The latest trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny has hit the web, featuring thrilling moments. Harrison Ford returns as our hero, maneuvering his way through dangerous situations with Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) by his side.

On June 30th, 2023, the latest film in the long-running adventure series will be released. Directed by James Mangold - who previously worked on Solo: A Star Wars Movie and Boba Fett - and serving as producer for this new venture, James Mangold promises an epic journey.

Each movie in the Indiana Jones series centers around a mysterious object that serves as the protagonists' ultimate prize. Past items have included the Ark of the Covenant, sacred stone, Holy Grail and crystal skull.

Now, the upcoming film will showcase another mysterious object called the Dial of Destiny. But what exactly is it?

In the first trailer for Klabor, we see two hands reaching towards something. A grand ticker tape parade interrupts their moment before we see Boyd Holbrook's character Klabor in hot pursuit.

As such, we've been eagerly awaiting a closer look at this mysterious object. The biggest unknown is whether or not the Dial of Destiny will act like any previous magical items in the series.

No matter the answer, Indy will likely treat the Dial of Destiny with reverence - just like the Ark, Sankara stones, and Grail were. If handled correctly, Indy and everyone he comes in contact with will cherish this treasure.

As with other mystical items in the franchise, this one may pose a puzzle to solve. We have some educated guesses as to what it might be.

Our best guess is that the Dial of Destiny will be something similar to a cipher disk from Uncharted, but it won't be exactly the same as Uncharted; rather, it will be something entirely new and unique.
