Over 400 products, including sandwiches, yogurts and fruit cups, were recalled by the Food and Drug Administration due to possible Listeria contamination. The products were sold under different brands and at grocery stores and other locations across the East Coast.
Listeria infection is a serious disease that can affect pregnant women, infants and people with weakened immune systems. Treatment can include antibiotics.
Over 400 products from Baltimore-based Fresh Ideation Food Group LLC are being recalled due to possible Listeria contamination. The products were sold at retail stores, vending machines and by transportation providers throughout nine states and the District of Columbia.
The recall affects ready-to-eat sandwiches, salads, snacks and yogurt. They were distributed across the East Coast from Jan. 24 to January 30.
According to the FDA, the company's environmental samples tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes, which is a type of bacteria that can cause a serious and sometimes fatal illness in young children, older adults and those with weak immune systems. It can also lead to miscarriages and stillbirths in pregnant women.
Symptoms of listeriosis may not show up right away. In some cases, the infection may take up to 70 days to develop.
Many people with listeriosis recover without antibiotic treatment, but it's important to seek medical care if you feel sick after eating a contaminated food product. This is especially true if you're pregnant, 65 or older, or have a weakened immune system, the FDA says.
The CDC estimates that an estimated 1,600 people get listeriosis each year, and about 260 die. Those at greatest risk include pregnant women, newborns and older adults, but even healthy people can become infected by eating contaminated food products.
In addition, if you eat any of the recalled products and you have a fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, confusion or loss of balance, contact your doctor as soon as possible. This is particularly important if you think you may have eaten these impacted foods during or within two months of travel, the CDC says.
Besides sandwiches and salads, the recalled products include muffins, breakfast sandwiches, fruit cups, hoagies, wraps and yogurt. They were distributed in Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
Bistro to Go, a Baltimore-based company, has issued a recall of over 400 products due to possible Listeria contamination. The recall affects sandwiches, salads, snacks, yogurt and wraps distributed to several East Coast states.
The food was distributed to grocery stores, restaurants and other retailers in Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia. The recalled foods include ready-to-eat lunch and breakfast sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, muffins, noodle bowls, packaged fruit, snack bars, and more.
Symptoms of listeriosis, or a severe infection caused by Listeria bacteria, usually occur within two weeks after eating contaminated foods. They can cause fever, flu-like symptoms, confusion and muscle aches.
Pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are at the highest risk for serious illness or death from listeriosis. Infection during pregnancy can lead to miscarriage, stillbirth and even life-threatening infection of the newborn.
These illnesses can result from consuming any foods that have been improperly handled and contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The CDC reports that about 1,600 cases of Listeria infections occur each year and that about 260 people die from them.
If you have any of the recalled Bistro to Go products, you should throw them away. You can also contact the company to request a replacement product, the FDA says.
The recalled products were manufactured and distributed by Fresh Ideation Food Group LLC of Baltimore, Md. and were sold in nine states and Washington, DC, between January 24 and January 30, the FDA said.
According to the FDA, the recalled Bistro to Go items have been distributed in retail locations, vending machines and during travel with transportation providers. All of the recalled products have a Fresh Creative Cuisine label and/or identifier on the bottom of the product with the Fresh Creative Cuisine name and a fresh through or sell-through date.
The recalled products are being voluntarily recalled by the manufacturer because they may contain Listeria monocytogenes. These illnesses are not common, but they can be fatal for young children, the elderly or people with weakened immune systems.
About 400 products from the Baltimore-based company Fresh Creative Cuisine are being recalled due to possible Listeria contamination, according to the Food and Drug Administration. The recalled items include breakfast and lunch sandwiches, desserts, flatbread pizzas, muffins, noodle bowls, packaged fruit, salads, snacks, wraps, and yogurt parfaits.
Listeria, a bacteria that is commonly found in deli meats, soft cheeses and raw sprouts, can cause serious illnesses when it enters the body through the intestines. It is most often seen in pregnant women, newborns and people with weakened immune systems. It can also be fatal, according to the CDC, which reports that around 1,600 people get listeriosis each year and about 260 die from it.
Symptoms of listeriosis generally occur within two weeks after exposure, but may appear up to four weeks later. They include fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck and confusion. They can sometimes be accompanied by diarrhea and other gastrointestinal symptoms, the CDC says.
In the majority of cases, healthy people recover without antibiotics. However, it is important to know that Listeria infections can be life-threatening for older adults, children, and those with weakened immune systems.
The recalled products were sold in a variety of stores, including grocery stores, convenience stores and restaurants. They were distributed to customers in Connecticut, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia.
They were sold under a variety of brand names, including Bistro to Go, Dietz & Watson, Fresh Creative Cuisine (including Black, Tan and White Label products), InReach, Naval Academy 1845 Coffee, Orchard Bistro, Quick & Fresh, Shaw's and Westin Label. All of the recalled products have a "Fresh Creative Cuisine" label or identifier on the bottom of the packaging and carry a sell-through date between Jan. 24, 2023 and Jan. 30, 2023.
The company Fresh Creative Cuisine is based in Baltimore, Maryland, and the products are distributed to retailers, vending machines, and transportation providers throughout the U.S. The company announced the recall Friday. They said the products were distributed in nine states and the District of Columbia between January 24 and 30.
The US Food and Drug Administration is alerting consumers about over 400 products recalled by a Baltimore company after they discovered possible Listeria contamination in their manufacturing facilities. Over the past month, this company has recalled hundreds of ready-to-eat sandwiches, salads, yogurts and wraps sold under a number of brand names.
The recalled products include breakfast and lunch sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, packaged fruit, muffins, noodle bowls, snacks, wraps and yogurt parfaits. The recalled products, sold under a variety of brand names including Bistro to Go, Quick & Fresh, Westin Label, Fresh Creative Cuisine, InReach, Orchard Bistro and Naval Academy 1845 Coffee, were distributed in Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia.
Among the recalled products are bacon, egg and cheddar muffins, breakfast croissants, tuna and chicken sandwiches and fruit cups. The products were sold at retail locations, in vending machines and during travel with transportation providers, such as Amtrak trains.
According to the FDA, listeria monocytogenes is the bacteria that causes invasive listeriosis, which can be dangerous for people with weakened immune systems and pregnant women. The infection can cause flu-like symptoms, fever and muscle aches. It can also lead to miscarriages, stillbirths and death in pregnant women.
Pregnant women, older adults and people with weakened immune systems are at greatest risk for developing invasive listeriosis. The CDC reports that around 1,600 people get the disease every year and about 260 die.
Invasive listeria infections spread beyond the gut to other parts of the body, causing flu-like symptoms such as fatigue, fever, neck stiffness and muscle aches. They can also lead to confusion, loss of balance and convulsions sometimes preceded by diarrhea.
Symptoms of invasive listeria usually start within two months after consuming contaminated food and include fever, flu-like symptoms or severe muscle aches. They can occur anywhere in the body, but they’re most common in children, older adults and pregnant women.
BTS is a seven-member K-pop group from South Korea. They have been a major force in the global music scene since their debut in 2013.
They are well known for their uplifting lyrics, speaking up on social issues and having a strong bond with their fans. They are also extremely talented performers.
The Album of the Year is the most prestigious award category at the Grammys. It's presented annually since 1959 to "honor artistic achievement, technical proficiency and overall excellence in the recording industry," as defined by the Grammys. This award is awarded to any artist, producer, songwriter or recording engineer who worked on an album that has been recorded and released in the United States over the past 12 months.
The award was initially presented only to the artist, but now any member of the band (such as producer, sound engineer or mixer) who contributed significantly to the production and execution of the album is honored. Several artists have won this award multiple times, including Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon and Taylor Swift.
Despite being an extremely popular and critically acclaimed group, BTS has failed to win a single Grammy. The members have graced the Grammy stage as presenters and performers in the best RB album category and as nominees for the best pop duo or group performance but could not claim their first golden gramophone each time.
This year, the Grammys nominated a wide range of albums for this prestigious award. Some of the most notable nominees include Beyonce, Adele, Kendrick Lamar, Harry Styles and Lizzo.
These artists are praised for their amazing work ethic, creative ideas and hard work in the music industry. They have made their mark on the industry and influenced countless musicians.
They also have a very positive impact on the Korean entertainment industry. Many of their songs are ranked among the top hits and have received numerous awards and nominations.
Some of their songs are even popular on radio stations in Korea and abroad. They have also impacted the lives of their fans and won many fans over with their musicality.
Their album has been a great success with their fans and won the Best Alternative Music Album at the 2020 Melon Music Awards, Mnet Asian Music Awards and 35th Golden Disc awards. The album has also been a major hit on Korean music charts.
The Grammys are so far out of touch with the real world that they don't think their fans are young kids. If they actually understood that their fans are all over the globe, it's very likely they'd be able to recognize them in any of their award ceremonies.
The Grammy Awards are the most prestigious award ceremony in the music industry. This year, the K-pop sensation BTS made history as they were nominated for three awards: Album of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Music Video.
The band is vying for the award in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category with their song “My Universe,” which was a joint collaboration with Coldplay. This marks the third time that BTS has been nominated in this category, as they are the only act to do so since this category was revamped by the Recording Academy.
They will compete against the likes of Adele, Kendrick Lamar, Doja Cat and Taylor Swift for this honor at the 65th annual Grammy Awards in February 2023. The winners will be announced at the live show that night on CBS.
Despite their failure to win the Grammy, BTS still has a lot of things to be proud of. They have won three other major awards at the ceremony, including the American Music Awards and the Billboard Music Awards. They also are set to make their debut at the Oscars in 2021.
Many fans were upset by the loss, but some remained optimistic. Some argued that the group should have won for "Dynamite." Others claimed that BTS should have won because they were the only Korean artists to be nominated in this category. Some even pointed out that BTS had multiple moments at the awards show that lent them a chance to win.
Another fan said that they were surprised that BTS didn’t win because of how popular they are. They argued that the Grammys should have given the award to BTS as much as they gave it to the artists nominated with them in this category.
Other fans believed that the group should have won because of their popularity and how great their songs are. Some even thought that if they had won, it would have been a huge win for K-pop and Asian artists.
However, BTS didn’t win because the Grammys voted for them to be nominated in the first place. They are the most popular Korean artist in the world and they should have been awarded this category for their achievements.

The song of the year award is one of the most prestigious awards in music. This year a group of lucky songs will compete for the top honor, and if they win they’ll take home the golden gramophone that symbolizes their success.
Unlike Record of the Year, which is given to the entire team that worked on the song, Song of the Year honors the individual songwriter who wrote the lyrics and melodies to the winning song. There are a few things to keep in mind when it comes to this award.
First, it’s important to understand that “Song” means a single song or a track on an album, not an entire recording session. It also doesn’t necessarily mean that a song is the best one of its kind, but rather that it demonstrates the highest level of craftsmanship.
Second, while it isn’t always easy to predict what the song of the year will be, it is usually a fairly obvious choice from a musical standpoint. It could be a lullaby, a love ballad, or a high-energy tune that’s sure to be a hit on radio.
For example, Miley Cyrus’s hit “Flowers” has spent three weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100. In addition, it’s also been a monster streaming and digital song sales performer. It’s now the first song since Coldplay and BTS’s 2021 hit “My Universe” to sell more than 30,000 copies a week in the U.S.
And if that’s not enough, Jack Harlow’s upbeat anthem “First Class” is one of the most catchy songs of the year, and it’s definitely one of voters’ favorite bops.
Finally, there are some newer artists in the mix, like Joji’s piano ballad “Glimpse of Us” and Zach Bryan’s country hit “Something in the Orange.” These songs have been big hits on mainstream music platforms so far, and a wider vote from voters might help them make the cut.
While it may feel like BTS was snubbed, the band has millions of fans around the world who love them and support their work. As John Kim Faye, a Korean American who was a member of the Caulfields in the 90s, says, “True artists value connection over statues.” So, even though it’s disappointing to see the group miss out on a Grammy, it’s ok.
