Georgia Aquarium Dolphin Show

The diverse species of dolphins at the Georgia Aquarium are constantly busy. On a typical day they're seen and heard by tens of thousands of guests. I was able to get a behind the scenes look at their produce one day. Part of the entertainment that millions of family members, children and adults alike, enjoy is the weekly addition of new dolphins. April is a month for new arrivals, so I watched as a group of five or six young dolphins were welcomed.

Aquarium

Georgia Aquarium has several sanitization and cleanliness procedures, many of which have been enhanced given the awareness of COVID-19. Our Environmental Operations team continually cleans and disinfects frequently touched places like handles, elevators, faucets, counters, and more. We have placed additional hand sanitizer units in gallery entrances and exits and additional signage in our restrooms indicating proper handwashing techniques. For staff, disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, and gloves are available for all employees and volunteers.

One of the biggest aquariums in the world, Georgia Aquarium hosts over 100 habitats. From Whale Sharks to African Penguins up to Common Bottlenose Dolphins, you will encounter a wide range of marine animals here. There are 8 Georgia Aquarium exhibits and they also conduct several informational tours to helps visitors understand aquatic life better. Dolphin

You will be able to reserve seats for the Dolphins in Depth presentation when you are on site. To allow for proper social distancing in the Dolphin Theater, seating is very limited and still first come, first served. You have the choice to guarantee your seats with our $5 Preferred Seat, or you will be able to reserve your seat at no cost with our seat reservation system.

It is recommended that guests plan ahead to enter the Dolphin Coast gallery about 15-30 minutes before presentation time, to allow time to enter the dolphin theater, find your seats and enjoy the educational dolphin presentation pre-show entertainment. If you miss your scheduled dolphin presentation, Georgia Aquarium cannot guarantee you a preferred seat in another dolphin presentation. (Source: www.georgiaaquarium.org)
