Frozen 3 might seem like a sure thing after Frozen II became the highest-grossing animation EVER following its release in November 2019, but a threequel has yet to get moving at Disney.

We're still confident that we will see a third movie and given that there were six years between the first two movies, there's still plenty of time for one to arrive. So if that did happen, what do we know about a possible Frozen 3 so far?
The excellent making-of Frozen II documentary series Into the Unknown (now available to watch on Disney+) goes into the sheer level of detail that goes into creating an animation, so it's understandable that there could be such a gap.
