The 1997 teen comedy "American Pie," took the world by storm. Literally, though, it took the world by storm. When the movie came out in the late 90's just about everyone under the sun was talking about it. Featuring iconic scenes, legendary jokes, and the beginning of a multi-decade long saga, American Pie virtually changed the teen comedy movie game itself. Since it's major motion picture debut a multitude of sequels and spoofs have launched and virtually anyone who has seen it will likely have a story to tell or joke to share from this movie that could easily fall into the "cult classic" category.
