Kevin Hart - Actor and Comedian
Stand-up comedian and actor Kevin Hart was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He started his career by winning amateur comedy contests and has been successful in his career since then. After winning a national competition, he went on to become an actor. In addition to comedy, Hart also plays the role of a CIA agent in his movie "Faceless". The film has been a critical success and earned him the Oscar for Best Picture.
After hosting the MTV Music Awards in 2012, Hart was able to earn recurring roles on Modern Family. Then, he appeared on the shows Real Husbands of Hollywood and Workaholics. In 2015, he hosted the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber. In late 2018, Hart accepted an invitation to host the Academy Awards, but he later stepped down from the role due to homophobic remarks. He now hosts "True Story" as a producer through HBP.
Despite his growing fame as a comedian, Hart's career as an actor began in his childhood. He was raised by his single mother Nancy, who was a drug addict. His father, Henry, was in and out of jail during the years, and it affected the two of them. He turned to humor to cope with the tough situation. In the early 2000s, Hart signed a first-look deal with Nickelodeon to star in the new sci-fi action comedy "Borderlands."
Although Kevin Hart first gained fame in standup comedy, his career has continued to flourish since then. His movies include Think Like a Man, Get Hard, and Central Intelligence. He has even branched out into voice work, lending his talent to projects such as The Secret Life of Pets, Grudge Match, and the Ride Along franchise with Ice Cube. These films have earned him great reviews and have earned him several nominations for Best Comedy Actor and Best Male Performance.
In addition to his acting skills, Kevin Hart's comedy career is just as varied. In 2011, he co-starred in "The Wedding Ringer," which he also produced. In 2013, he starred in the movie "Failure City" with Wesley Snipes. In addition to these films, Hart is also the star of a Netflix drama series titled "True Story". He recently wrapped production on the science-fiction action comedy, "Borderlands" with Cate Blanchett.
Hart has a love-hate relationship with his father. His father, a computer analyst, was his favorite role model, and his mother taught him how to set goals and achieve them. His mother's life motto was "You can't have everything you want, so you can't fail." That motto is especially important for a comedian, and it is a lesson Hart learned from her. He's not afraid to make mistakes and try new things.
