Ross Geller, Rachel Green, Monica Geller, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing, and Phoebe Buffay are six twenty-somethings living in New York City. Over the course of 10 years and seasons, these friends go through life lessons, family, love, drama, friendship, and comedy. Alright, so maybe Joey Tribbiani from F.R.I.E.N.D.S, was always stuck in second gear up until he landed the role of Dr Drake Ramoray on Days of Our Lives. But Matt LeBlanc, the actor who played the aspiring actor, doesn't seem to have that problem whatsoever.
Joey is portrayed as promiscuous and dim-witted but good-natured, as well as very loyal, caring, and protective of his friends. He is a food-loving womanizer who has had more luck with dates than any of the other group members. In contrast to his persona as the "ladies’ man", he has also a marked childish side. He enjoys playing video games and foosball, loves sandwiches and pizza, and is a big fan of Baywatch. As a struggling actor, he is constantly looking for work. He was ordained as a minister in "The One with the Truth About London" and officiated at both Monica and Chandler's and Phoebe and Mike's weddings. (Source:
Joey is a stereotypical and a terrible actor: oversexed, under-educated, and constantly looking for work. He is also ordained as a minister in "The One With The Truth About London", and he officiates at both Monica and Chandler's and Phoebe and Mike's weddings. It is revealed in "The One After 'I Do'" that Joey has a size seven foot (European size 38.5), which he is secretive and defensive about. He also has a soft toy penguin named Huggsy (his "bedtime penguin pal"), which he is very fond of and does not like to share with others. In "The One With Ross and Monica's Cousin", it is revealed that as was common with Catholic boys, Joey is circumcised. (Source: friends.fandom.com)
Relationship Status… typically single by choice, but never lonely. Joey is always on his way to or from a hook-up. One secret is his signature opener, “How you doin’?” (It sounds more impressive coming from him.) His friends marvel at his successes with the ladies. Between his stock lines and prepared stories, he somehow makes himself irresistible. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that he’s a good-looking actor.
Many of the jokes are similar to Friends, yet these just didn't feel right. However, having seen the first 10/11 Episodes now, the show seems to be finding its feet. In fairness to the show, the casting is great, with each of the actors being well placed in who they are.
