The food truck-turned-restaurant offers vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian dishes. A quinoa and mixed greens salad named for Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, a vegan alternative to a pulled pork sandwich in its barbecue jackfruit slider, cauliflower and fish tacos, vegan pizza, and a shrimp burger topped with coleslaw, Sriracha mayo, and cilantro lime sauce are among the options on the menu here. Located one block from the East Point MARTA station in downtown East Point, Lov’n It Live is devoted to serving raw foods and dishes made with ingredients from local farms. Start off with a collard roll containing nutmeat, onions, tomatoes, avocado, and field greens or a stuffed avocado filled with nutmeat, peppers, and pico de gallo. Next, order a lentil burger, a slice of lasagne made with zucchini noodles, or a marinated portobello mushroom steak. The huge success of Slutty Vegan in Atlanta cannot be overstated. Owner Pinky Cole founded the vegan burger business in 2018 as a delivery service, with people contacting her via Instagram to place orders for provocatively named meatless burgers like the One Night Stand and Ménage à Trois. She quickly amassed a large following, eventually leading to a food truck and late night pop-ups around Atlanta University Center. Nearly three years later, Cole has three restaurants in Westview, on Edgewood Avenue, and in Jonesboro, with a fourth in the works for Birmingham.
