A leading cause of heartburn and indigestion, Rolaids act like a coating of tears, lubricating your throat and protecting it from stomach acid. They are usually recommended over other indigestion medication products due to their possible side effects. Rolaids are antacid and they have the other benefits like safeguarding your teeth against acid erosion and a four-level total protection against acid reflux.

Rolaids is an American brand of calcium and magnesium-based antacid produced by Chattem. It was invented by American chemist Irvine W. Grote in the late 1920s, and originated with manufacturing in Chattanooga, Tennessee under one of Chattem's forerunner companies. Since antacids are used when needed, you may not be on a dosing schedule. If you are on a schedule, use the missed dose as soon as you remember.
