The bizarre response to the new design of the superhero's suit provoked a whole new level of scrutiny directed at the rapper. Though many other critics have quickly dismissed the backlash as "silly," the discussion continues to whip up.

Cast your mind back to November 2020, and you might remember the rapper deleted his Instagram after being trolled for his Batman costume. He decided to take a different spin on the usually jet-black costume and instead go for a brown version, complete with brown vinyl cape. In a picture of the outfit posted to Instagram, Travis posed next to a car of the same colour.

Travis Scott was one of the many celebrities sharing their Halloween costumes last Saturday, but his Batman outfit didn't go over so well in the comments of his Instagram post. As Buzzfeed reports, Travis Scott deleted his entire Instagram page after a negative response to his brown-tinged Dark Knight costume. See it below: (Source: www.thefader.com)

It's possible that Scott just needed a social media break, and the Instagram deletion merely coincided with him being grilled like one of the quarter pounders from his wildly popular signature McDonald's meal. Either way, it's never a nice thing to hear yourself referred to as "Doo Doo Brown Knight." See Scott's now-deleted posts below, archived by The Shade Room. (Source: www.thefader.com)

Quickly, fans took to the comment section of the post to let Travis know that while the costume itself looked pretty elaborate and accurate, they were mystified by the colour change, and basically thought Travis looked like a stationary statue or even a brown insect.

Kylie Jenner, of course, couldn’t help but post anyway, and via her Instagram stories we saw the likes of Doja Cat, Winnie Harlow, Justin Bieber and The Weeknd ignoring social distancing guidelines. Apparently, all guests took a rapid COVID-19 test before the event. If there is a lesson to be learned, it simply to never post. (Source: junkee.com)
