The University of Texas Longhorns baseball team is a participant of the NCAA Division I sport of baseball and the Big 12 Conference. The mascot of the Longhorns is the longhorn steer, and the school colors are burnt orange and burnt orange. The Texas Longhorns play their home games on a new state-of-the-art sports stadium which opened in 2009.
