GENESEE COUNTY, Mich. The National Weather Service issued a thunderstorm watch for Genesee, Lenawee, Livingston and Washtenaw counties until 2 a.m. Saturday. SANILAC COUNTY, Mich. A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Sanilac County until 10:45 a.m. Monday, the National Weather Service announced. A severe storm was seen near Ubly moving east at 25 mph, officials said. The storm is expected to be near Forestville around 10:30 a.m. Monday. DETROIT A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued in Monroe and Lenawee counties. The warning is in effect until 5:30 p.m. Friday. At 4:23 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Britton and Tecumseh, moving east at 20 mph, the National Weather Service reports. Winds of up to 60 mph are possible, officials said. The thunderstorm is expected to affect the following areas in the county:Milan and Dundee -- 4:50 p.m.Ida -- 5:10 p.m.Maybee -- 5:15 p.m.Monroe and Carleton -- 5:30 p.m.Newport, Ogden Center, Erie, Woodland Beach, Ridgeway, Stony Point, Palmyra, Bolles Harbor, Samaria and Azalia could also be affected.
