The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles is a diplomatic mission of the Republic of the Philippines in the United States, representing the country's interests in southern California. It is located on the fifth floor of the Equitable Life Building at 3435 Wilshire Boulevard in the Koreatown neighborhood of central Los Angeles, a couple of blocks north of the Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools.

The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles was opened in 1947 at 355 South Broadway in the city's historic core, initially as an extension office of the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco. It was upgraded into its own mission in 1955 by President Ramon Magsaysay, becoming the city's 17th consulate general. During the 1989 Philippine coup attempt, a confrontation took place at the Consulate between supporters of the Aquino administration and those supportive of the coup. Coup supporters also organized a candlelight vigil outside, subsequently leaving the premises after they were shouted out by supporters of the government. (Source: en.wikipedia.org)
