A pediatric endocrinologist's job is to discover children with hormonal problems and tailor their treatment plan accordingly. A pediatric endocrinologist may also see kids who suffer from diabetes or growth problems as well as those who are overweight. Pediatric endocrinology is a field that approaches and treats children with hormonal problems. That's why a pediatric endocrinologist is called a pediatric endocrinologist.

We didn't have a good experience with Dr. Harmon. She's very loud (my daughter has sensory issues and doesn't like loud sounds) and rushes you through appointments. But the major issue was Dr. Harmon's surgical skills. My daughter had an issue with an overabundance of wax and after two traumatic/painful procedures of extracting the it with a tool while she was awake, we decided to put my daughter under anesthesia to get all of it out. After the procedure that night, I looked in one of my daughter's ears and there was still a huge chunk of impacted wax. When I called Dr. H's nurse the next day and asked why there was so much wax left in her ear, she told me it was probably new wax that had formed. I reminded her that my daughter had the procedure the previous day and the nurse said, "Well sometimes wax forms pretty quickly." ??????? We never went back. (Source: www.healthgrades.com)

Child

When your child comes in for his or her appointment, our ENT doctors will examine the ears, nose, and throat. In addition, we will review his or her symptoms and health history. Oftentimes we need to use special instruments to look inside of the nose. At times we may need to order a CT Scan to determine how developed your child’s sinuses are, confirm the diagnosis, and/or determine where any nasal blockage is occurring.
