Make a Wish

Help a child who is ill or a dying animal today. We had one of our local feed suppliers dump grains out for an eagle. We could not accept it and are working to find them new work. Wish hears of your story and donates $5 to help with your cure! Lay a single flower at one of these locations.

Wish

The wish journey begins the moment your child’s application is approved. Our wonderful Wish Team works closely with a pool of incredible volunteers to carefully plan a wish journey that complements a child’s medical treatment and long-term well-being. Once we’ve tapped into their imagination to capture their cherished wish, we’ll take them on a wondrous journey of anticipation in the lead up to their wish coming true.

Headquartered in Phoenix, Make-A-Wish is the world’s leading children’s wish-granting organization, serving children in every community in the United States and in more than 50 countries worldwide. Together, generous donors, supporters, staff and more than 39,000 volunteers across the U.S., grant a wish every 34 minutes, on average, somewhere in the country. Since 1980, Make-A-Wish has granted more than 300,000 wishes to children in the U.S. and its territories; more than 15,600 in 2018 alone. Help

Make-A-Wish volunteers visit each child to capture their greatest wish, getting to the heart of what kids truly want and why. This profound insight is part of what makes Make-A-Wish unique, giving children full creative control and helping to shape their entire Wish Journey.

The national board of directors helps chart Make-A-Wish's course. The board determines the organization's mission and vision, evaluates and supports the president and chief executive officer, and protects Make-A-Wish's assets. The board also enhances Make-A-Wish's public standing, ensures accountability, maintains legal integrity, and assesses its own performance. (Source: en.wikipedia.org)
