“It's hard to know what's possible when you're in the known. Change is what gives you hope”. An accomplished entrepreneur who is also a mother, rising star, and partner in a successful Salt Lake venture capital firm, Jen Shah's battle for her freedom is rooted in a need to promote change in the justice system. This quote describes perfectly how our life before February was like. Then, I met Jen Shah. She is the owner of Next-Generation Personal Training, an online fitness program that has changed my life. We met for coffee that Sunday, but then I had to work that day. I stayed up that night wondering what the heck I had gotten myself into.
Jen Shah was indicted for her alleged role in a long-running telemarketing scheme while filming season 2 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City — and all eyes are on the Bravo star as she faces up to 50 years in prison. (Source: www.usmagazine.com)
Jen's fraud trial is currently set for March 2022, according to Page Six. She will be on trial along with two co-defendants, Chad Allen, and Cameron Brewster, per People.
Attorney Ronald Richards, who is not involved with the case, confirmed that Stuart "pleaded guilty to three counts: conspiracy to commit wire fraud, money laundering and obstruction of justice," on Nov. 19, according to Us Weekly. (Source: www.womenshealthmag.com)
“Shah and Smith objectified their very real human victims as ‘leads’ to be bought and sold, offering their personal information for sale to other members of their fraud ring,” Fitzhugh said. “Working with our partners at the NYPD and the United States Attorney’s Office, SDNY, and with the assistance of HSI Salt Lake City, HSI New York worked to ensure that Shah and Smith will answer for their alleged crimes. As a result, their new reality may very well turn out differently than they expected.” (Source: www.usmagazine.com)
