As a busy mom trying to juggle a career and a family, this morning I opened my email and saw a letter from my school. They were offering extended hours, and I was having a lot of anxiety about childcare so I signed up immediately.

Bohen is currently a recurring actor on Paramount Network's series, Yellowstone. However, he is famous for his role as Peter Hale in the drama series Teen Wolf, which celebrated 10 years earlier this year. The series is now gearing up to make a comeback as a feature film. Variety had earlier reported that the movie version of the show will be worked out by the creator of the series, Jeff David. (Source: www.republicworld.com)

Things might have turned out very differently had Ian Bohen decided that spending a year in New Zealand was a positive career move. Instead, having filmed the pilot, he opted to remain Stateside and lost the title role in "Young Hercules" (the children's spin-off from "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys") to Ryan Gosling. Having debuted in the Todd Fields short "Delivering," Bohen graduated to features as the younger version of Kevin Costner in Lawrence Kasdan's 1994 Western biopic, "Wyatt Earp." Quickly rising to leads, he teamed with Candace Cameron Bure as the teens in peril in "Monster Mash: The Movie," which was inspired by the cult 1960s song by Bobby 'Boris' Pickett (who co-starred as Dr. Frankenstein). But, over the next few years, Bohen was mostly seen fleetingly in TV shows like "Walker, Texas Ranger," "Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman" and "Boy Meets World." A stint as Johnny O'Brien on the friends-across-the-decades series "Any Day Now" in 2000 and 2001 went some way to compensating for missing out on "Young Hercules," as did bits as a radar operator in "Pearl Harbor" and coach Terry O'Quinn's deceased son in the gridiron drama "Hometown Legend." Subsequently, Bohen landed supports in 2006 cod superhero fantasy "Special" and the Bollywood rags-to-riches saga "Marigold" before headlining the thriller, "Irreversi," as a married yuppie with a dark secret. Back on the small screen, he has guested in "Mad Men" and "Teen Wolf." (Source: www.rottentomatoes.com)

Like Buffy the Vampire Slayer before it, Teen Wolf took a supernatural comedy that had originated as a feature film, and translated it to the small screen as a broody, bloody teen drama. The series ran for six seasons and a total of 100 episodes on MTV. While ViacomCBS owns MTV and co-owns The CW, Superman & Lois is a Warner Bros. production, so that connection is likely a coincidence. (Source: comicbook.com)

Bohen will reportedly play a character named Lt. Mitch Anderson, and while there is a character of the name in the comics -- created by Dan Jurgens during "The Death of Superman" storyline -- it seems the name is just about all they have in common. In the comics, Mitch was a disaffected teen whose life changed when Doomsday slammed through his house, nearly killing his family, and he learned to idolize Superman after the Man of Steel willingly gave up his advantage in the fight to help the Andersons survive.
