Evidently Milwaukee did not see enough from the 22-year-0ld to justify keeping him on a standard contract. Kalaitzakis was the last pick in the draft and will join Milwaukee for Summer League. He has been a highly regarded prospect for years, but only played limited minutes for Panathinaikos last season. The Bucks will look to repeat as champions and thus are unlikely to keep too many young players on their roster.

 

 

 

 

There is a good chance Kalaitzakis ends up as a draft-and-stash once SummerHowever, he can quite streaky with his jump shot, and he can at times commit too many turnovers. If he can continue to hone his craft, he could end up being an effective role player in the NBA, as he could potentially end up going late in the second round as a stash pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Everything is still learning experience for Greek guard. Kalaitzakis already played more pro minutes than entire last year which is simply ridiculous considering he suited up for Nevezis only 6 times.
