Known since 1933 as Santa Monica’s First Lady, The Georgian is one of L.A’.s most iconic hotels. History weaves throughout our restaurant and 84 guest rooms, culminating in 14 ocean-facing suites with some of the world’s best sunset views. Breakfast, lunch, or happy hour, our beachfront address sets the scene for a truly unique Santa Monica dining experience. The beauty, location, and history of the Georgian Hotel are a given. The real secret is the kindness, compassion, and respect that Brandon and his staff provided, daily, is the DIFFERENCE between a vacation and "stay". I cannot commend his efforts enough to cater to our needs during what is a very stressful time for everyone.

Traveled to Santa Monica in mid-March to attend a wedding. I had the luxury of sitting on the Georgian Hotel's front porch right on Santa Monica's Ocean Ave (near the boardwalk) and have cocktails in the late afternoon with my girlfriend. The Georgian has a very popular Happy Hour where drinks are half price. The hotel is located only a third of a mile from the famous Santa Monica pier and the view iHistorically, meetings and events at The Georgian Santa Monica have included a who's who of Hollywood figures, including Clark Gable, Carole Lombard, Bugsy Siegel, Al Capone, and "Fatty" Arbuckle. Make your event an absolute must-attend with on-site catering, state-of-the-art audio/video, and business amenities at an iconic Los Angeles hotel near the coast. The hotel is expensive, for my budget, but completely worth it. I stayed here last June - at the beginning of summer. Now I’m staying here, to say goodbye to summer. Am also booked for my birthday in January. It’s really important that I stay in Room 301. It has the perfect view through the palm trees. Any higher floor wouldn’t have that. Hope I can get Room 301 a third time! (It felt like coming home.) (Source: www.booking.com)

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location was also great and we were able to walk to all the restaurants, shops and the beach. When we got there the staff was really nice and they offered us two free drinks and an appetizer from their restaurant. Overall a great experience with far more positives than negatives.
