A reasonably sized, stand alone store that’s located in the heart of a large, public university. They are open to the public. Staff is mostly students and volunteers. Most of the business is donations, with a few purchases happening. They still sell books and a few pet projects, but don’t offer any classes.

At the beginning of Fall and Spring semesters, eligible students may authorize Barnes & Noble @ Georgia Tech to transfer up to $1,600 in allowable bookstore charges to their student account through Bursar Billing. Authorization allows students to apply financial aid (if applicable) to pay for textbooks and supplies when purchased from the Barnes and Noble retail store located at Technology Square. If you answered the FASET registration question to allow the transfer of Barnes & Noble @ Georgia Tech charges to your student account as "YES", you will not need to do anything further other than authorize Title IV aid (see below for applicability). (Source: www.bursar.gatech.edu Please note that whether you are a new or continuing student, both the Barnes & Noble @ Georgia Tech authorization to transfer charges AND your Title IV authorization (only required if you are receiving Title IV financial aid) must be given for textbook purchases to transfer from Barnes & Noble @ Georgia Tech to your student account.
