As the Country Music Capital of Georgia, you are sure to hear some of your favorite artists in our intimate venue! We are most known for our Georgia Mountain Fair that we host each summer. From August 19th through 27th, 2022 you can enjoy nine days of arts and craft vendors, mouth watering fair food, live demonstrations and shows, a fantastic lineup of musicians, the Miss Georgia Mountain Fair Beauty Pageant, and a midway with rides that will delight both the young and young at heart!

The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds plays host to several popular annual events, including the Georgia Mountain Fair, the Georgia Mountain Roots & Music Festival, the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival and Georgia's Official State Fiddler's Convention. The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds are located along the shores of beautiful Lake Chatuge in the North Georgia mountain community of Hiawassee and is only two hours from Atlanta, Greenville, Asheville and Chattanooga. The Fairgrounds offer a wide variety of unique venues and beautiful year-round camping facilities. Georgia Mountain Fair's new Two-Way Video Conference Center may just be what you need. The new Video Center in the Anderson Music Hall can seat approximately 3,000 people and has a large foyer that can be used for tables. With a newly installed video screen measuring 192" X 144" and two remote cameras, our system has a computer and a fiber optic Internet connection that can stream video both ways. The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, which opened in 1978, is home to several popular events throughout the year including the Georgia Mountain Fair, Georgia Mountain Moonshine Cruiz-In, Georgia Mountain Fall Festival, Superstar concerts, and Georgia's Official State Fiddlers' Convention. Located on a 161-acre (0.65 km tact along the shores of Lake Chatuge in the north Georgia mountain community of Hiawassee, the Fairgrounds offers a glimpse into the past with its historic Pioneer Village, an expansive and comfortable music venue in the Anderson Music Hall, the Hamilton Rhododendron Gardens and 189 RV camp sites with lake views and modern conveniences.
