Georgia was the twelfth state according to the Constitution, yet it has its own breed of groundhog that only exists in one country. The state’s groundhog is the toothiest creature out of groundhogs. Its name is the Northern Groundhog and is about the size of a small house cat. Every February 2nd, the average weight is just slightly higher than 3 pounds. The lifespan of the Northern Groundhog is around seven years.
