If you have an item that is broken, such as a car in the shop, are you getting to use it? What he’s saying is he has a girl that’s a real catch. If you were to think of her as a high level car she would be a Ferrari or a McLaren F1, only better and thus he compares her to a jet, which is what really rich people are buying nowadays anyway. There’s a catch, however, because they can’t take their relationship to the next level because of the girl’s doubts about Frank’s true feelings. Thus, he can’t release the full potential of their relationship just as you can’t release the full potential of a jet or a plane w/o flying it. I also like your interpretation that he is literally lying down thinking about her. (Source: songmeanings.com)

"thinking About You" by Frank Ocean Review

"Thinking About You" finds Frank Ocean as purely R&B as he's ever been, singing at times in an endearing, slightly creaky falsetto over a spacey and sexy beat that you'd expect to find on the back half of The-Dream's next album. But being an Ocean track, this isn't a tale of bedroom triumph; instead it's a beguiling sketch of a relationship just out of his reach. Like many of his songs, the magnetism of "Thinking About You" lies not in the details, but in the lack thereof. The strength of his songwriting is his ability to make the unfamiliar feel intensely personal, as if you're a friend that has long known all the particulars of his relationships. This time it's a girl who couldn't take Ocean at face value-- the line "No, I don't like you/ I just thought you were cool" drips with both sarcasm and regret. "Thinking About You" is also more primal, though. The yearning in his falsetto is almost palpable as he flips gender roles and admits that he's been "thinking about forever," while simultaneously questioning if the girl even had that kinda thing on her mind.

Simplicity is part of what makes Frank Ocean‘s breakout single “Thinkin’ Bout You” so wonderfully endearing. So without further adieu, here’s our complete, but by no means comprehensive list of the ten best “Thinkin’ Bout You” remixes, in no particular order.
