Focus

Focus is one of the nation’s premier programs for raising awareness of graduate education. It is designed to attract highly skilled students who have historically been underrepresented in higher education and encourage them to pursue graduate degrees, hopefully at Georgia Tech Focus invites students (third year through graduating seniors) to apply to attend this program, which is open to students around the nation. Accommodations, meals, and transportation subsidies will be provided for all accepted scholars...A. You will have at least three opportunities to submit your travel reimbursement statement: (1) When you complete your travel confirmation form. You will have an opportunity to upload travel receipts directly. (2) during Focus Program registration on Thursday or (3) before 9 a.m. on Friday in the Student Center Ballroom. This position requires exceptional organizational, detail orientation, and decision-making skills. Georgia

This position plays an important role in managing, coordinating, planning, and supporting daily functions for the State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA) Executive office as Executive Administrative Assistant to the Deputy Executive Director and other key Executive level staff. Additionally, this position serves as the Board Liaison to two boards: the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA) and the Atlanta-region Transit Link Authority (ATL). This position reports directly to the General Counsel and will perform a variety of tasks in the business areas of procurement and legal for the State Road and Tollway Authority, the Atlanta-region Transit Link (ATL) Authority, and the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (collectively, the authority).

Under limited supervision, the Procurement Manager plans, directs, and coordinates procurement strategies for the purchasing, storage, and distribution of materials, products, and services. Other duties include adherence to regulatory guidelines, maintenance of detailed knowledge of appropriate Federal and State guidelines relative to procurement. This position will also manage and coordinate the preparation, bid, evaluation and award of procurement contracts, inclusive of developing and executing procurement strategies that are designed to maximize internal customer satisfaction and minimize costs. Other tasks may include but are not limited to formulating applicable policies, drafting contract-related (with the assistance of legal counsel as needed) and other documents and memoranda, conducting training, advising on various other related matters, and represent SRTA by attending meetings.
