Delilah is an LA based development with a focus on boutique hotels, restaurants between 25-100 rooms, and mostly growing organic listings. She shares occasional travel content on her blog and Instagram (@delilahlosangeles) to capture the wanderlust of an international travel blogger. I reached out to her and asked for a piece of advice for new blogging entrepreneurs. “It is important to keep a balance and niche your work,” said Delilah.

After co-founding The h.wood Group in 2008, Terzian and Toll created renowned venues in L.A. including The Nice Guy, which evokes a mafia-bar aesthetic and is planning to open an outpost in Aspen, and Bootsy Bellows, which captures the essence of 1940s Palm Springs. The h.wood Group also owns several fine dining restaurants— including Ela Ela and Santolina, both of which offer a selection of Mediterranean dishes with a California twist. Furthermore, Terzian and Toll are also looking to open another Delilah in Miami in 2022.

Set to open in early 2022, it will stand as the first East Coast location for the group, on the heels of a flagship in LA and a second location at the Wynn Las Vegas. Moving forward, H.wood Group cofounders John Terzian and Brian Toll say Miami is one of several locations the group has planned as part of a global expansion of both their Delilah and the Nice Guy brands."I love Miami. It's one of my favorite cities in the world, and I have been going there yearly since I was a little kid," Toll tells New Times. "My mom grew up in Miami and went to Miami Beach High. And my grandfather was actually the general manager at the Fontainbleau back in the '50s when Elvis and other huge celebs used to stay there. I know the city very well and have seen some amazing restaurants and nightclubs open in the past few years." (Source: www.miaminewtimes.com)

Swing and jive through this modern homage to the roaring ‘20s. Delilah is a modern-day supper club with a vintage aesthetic. Lavish chandeliers hang overhead, and plush interiors create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Nostalgic touches, like the crackling fireplace, offer increased comfort as guests dine on refined American fare. Dining elevates to dancing as a troupe of female entertainers move to the sounds of a live jazz band. Eating, drinking, and dancing converge in this luxury space, and guests enjoy lounge-style bottle service as the evening progresses.

About the restaurant: Art Deco-themed Delilah is undeniably one of the most beautiful spots in West Hollywood. Moderne décor hearkens back to Hollywood’s golden era. Plush banquettes are softly illuminated by dripping chandeliers, globe lanterns and candlelight, creating a romantic, Gatsby-esque vibe. Weekends are a scene (velvet ropes and all) so reservations are essential. Lithe models and celebs are often spotted. The sleek bar is a perfect spot to sip a sophisticated cocktail of gin, chartreuse and verbena-infused Lillet. Outdoor dining is available. (Source: www.gayot.com)
