As you are beset on all sides by the world’s fast food outlets, it sometimes helps to take a pause and remember where you came from and how Chick-fil-A got its start.

Chick-Fil-

Though its former locations in the United Kingdom and South Africa are closed, Chick-fil-A's restaurants in Canada remain open. The restaurant serves breakfast before transitioning to its lunch and dinner menu. Chick-fil-A also offers customers catered selections from its menu for special events.

The Chick-fil-A Backstage Tour is a rollicking journey through the history of the number one chicken restaurant chain in America. The tour includes a fun guided walking storytelling experience that takes you back to the beginning when S. Truett Cathy founded Chick-fil-A. The Original Tour focuses on Cathy himself and the core values and culture of the company he so longingly created. With the Deluxe tour, attendees also get to visit Cathy’s office, savor tastings in the Kitchen and spend time in the Nest (the company’s training center). It’s an excellent way to go behind the scenes and get to know everything about Chick-fil-A, from the hospitable people and the delicious menu to the adored Eat More Chikin Cows. Located moments from downtown Atlanta, the Chick-fil-A Support Center is nestled on a scenic 80- acre campus. Tours are held Monday – Friday for adults and children over the age of 6. S. Truett Cathy and his brother Ben opened the little red-roofed restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia, in 1946. While it was originally called the Dwarf Grill, it was later renamed the Dwarf House, which has stuck ever since. There Cathy tested variations on chicken sandwiches, serving them up to customers and asking for feedback. Soon he stumbled on a recipe good enough to build an entire fast food chain around.
