A forgotten gem...this Place has been around for a while, over 30 years. And it was my first time eating here and as a native of Atlanta. I was shocked on how good the food and service was. One of their sister restaurants is the...number one steak restaurant in Atlanta, called bones. So all of their meat, steak wise, is grain fed beef. The service is amazing the menu it is robust and the food is excellent.More

www.atlantamagazine.com)Despite the rustic look, the food isn’t so much Southern as New American, with a diverse menu that incorporates Asian-themed tuna tartare and pappardelle tossed with braised lamb among familiar dishes like crab cakes and short ribs. A sense of regionalism shows up most in the steakhouse-like sides, which include mac-and-cheese, field peas, corn souffle and turnip greens. Listen for fish specials, which are often highlights from a kitchen that can be uneven on execution. (Source:

www.gayot.com): Evoking the Southeastern mountains that frame north Georgia’s landscape, Blue Ridge Grill aims to create the atmosphere of a lodge. Woods of various tones suggest rusticity but in a very sophisticated and polished manner. A reliably good lunch destination, the restaurant presents a wide-ranging, seasonally driven menu. Grilled whole Georgia trout is moist and flavorful, and the crab cakes are full-bore crab. Salmon will come medium rare if so ordered. On a fall menu, you may find some game --- Georgia is a hunter's paradise for venison and wild boar --- and the wood-grilled meats remain popular. Vegetarians will find vegetable side dishes that are served family style, and include a corn soufflé that is a must-have dish. Dessert offers a banana bread pudding, and for figure-watchers, there’s a daily light bite. The wine list includes old-world classics and bold new-world selections, splurges and good values, and a nice array of dessert wines. Look for half bottles, too. Brunch is offered on special occasions, such as Mother’s Day and Easter. (Source:

www.tripadvisor.com)The difference between amateurs and professionals is attention to detail and this restaurant 100% nails it. From offering valet services to an escort with an umbrella in rainy weather, this place goes above and beyond. I'm a foodie, but I also work in the film...and television industry and attention to detail to make guests feel welcome and comfortable is very important to me. Many higher class restaurants feel uncomfortable and cold, but the Grill is warm, friendly and inviting. The decor is filled with warm tones and lovely lighting that provides ample light for the table yet not so bright as to distract one from their company. The paintings are absolutely wonderful as they are fitting in the space, yet if you look closely they are a bit strange and unique enough to peak interest. I went for my 2nd year anniversary, and the table was decorated with confetti and Hershey's kisses and we received an amazing dessert for the occasion. From beginning to end it was an experience that I've missed from restaurants and I will certainly be going back even for non special occasions. The staff was attentive and friendly and I never had to worry about my drinks being refilled or having to wait to place my order. Everything was on par 100% throughout the dining experience and I've missed that especially during COVID. The food itself was incredible from start to finish as well. The oysters Rockefeller were the best I've had and the couscous pairing with the lamb was phenomenal. I will go to a restaurant sometimes just for excellent couscous and I definitely will be back. My husband's ribeye steak was scrumptious and perfect with every bite. This restaurant is every bit as on par with world renowned restaurants such as Gordon Ramsey's (huge compliment because I love Ramsey's restaurants), Bally's, and Commander's Palace.More

www.tripadvisor.com)Really exceptional french fries at Blue ridge grill. They must be twice fried, very crispy. The wagyu beef burger is also excellent, and the service is exceptional. Always consistently delicious food and service. (Source:
