is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He is known for his title role in the 2012 film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, as well as his appearances in the films Kinsey and Flags of Our Fathers, and his critically acclaimed role as Andrew Jackson in the musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. In 2016, he starred as Patrick Bateman in the Broadway musical adaptation of the novel American Psycho. In 2019, he starred as Erik Gelden in the third and final season of Marvel's Jessica Jones from Netflix.

Actor Benjamin Walker launched a career as a stand-up comedian before tackling performances on stage and screen, where he made his biggest impact on international audiences with his star-making turn as America's 16th president in "Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" (2012). After a notable feature film debut in the biographical drama "Kinsey" (2004), the then-fledgling actor was cast in Clint Eastwood's poignant WWII drama "Flags of Our Fathers" (2006). Walker also garnered numerous theater credits, including critically acclaimed Broadway performances in the titular role of the rock musical "Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson." Benjamin Walker was born Benjamin Walker Davis in Georgia, and was raised in Cartersville, GA, the son of Jeannine (Walker), a music teacher, and Greg Davis, who worked in finance and owned a movie rental store. He has one older brother. Walker was educated at Cartersville High School in Georgia and the Interlochen Arts Academy in Traverse City, Michigan, before studying acting at the Juilliard School in New York. Whilst at Juilliard, Walker got his first experiences of performing for paying audiences as a stand-up comedian. His acting break came in 2007, when he was cast as Bertram Cates in a Broadway production of 'Inherit the Wind'. Further theater roles followed, including playing Andrew Jackson in the rock musical 'Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson', which was critically acclaimed. Walker first came to film-goers' attention when he played the young Kinsey in Kinsey (2004). Other film and TV roles followed including Harlon Block in Clint Eastwood's Flags of Our Fathers (2006), and playing another president, Abraham Lincoln in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012).
