Cons: "Delta treats any passenger that isn't a member of their skymiles or anyone that doesn't purchase a seat in advance like peasants. You don't get assigned a seat until YouTube up at the airport... That's fine, not really a big deal. But because you didn't select a seat, they don't let you print or view your boarding pass on your phone, forcing you to go to the checking desk. For someone that has TSA pre check and travels alot, all that extra time adds up and can sometimes cause you to miss your flight. Because there is on "fast line" when you check-in like there is at the security check point. I only have this problem with Delta, never American airlines..." (Source: www.kayak.com)

Cons: "Seated in the rear middle seat. I had no options to select a seat when I checked in or made my reservation that wasn't an extra charge. I'mover 6' tall and middle seats are painful, especially cross country. Airlines need to be a little more attentive to their customers' needs. If a passenger is taller than average, and the flight is more than 60 minutes, provide comfortable seating at no extra charge. If a customer has a short layover, which their system knows about since it is the sourve of the flight plans, put the customer toward the front of the aircraft since these flights are habitually late and customers end up having to sprint through airports to try to make connections." (Source: www.kayak.com)

Cons: "Flight delays cause cascade of irritable passengers. Flight out of Phoenix delayed due to late departure from previous location. We were told mechanical reasons was the cause of the delay. This caused many passengers to miss their connecting flight in Atlanta. When we arrived after midnight, one gate person was attempting to help 50 people with morning connecting flights and room accommodations. The airline knew 3 hours prior that they would have tired, hungry, frustrated passengers. To then have to wait more than an hour in a line to get a bed and or a meal was too much for most people. There were other smaller examples of how Delta's staff or procedures were not customer centric. I will avoid Delta for travel in the future, and I am getting out of their stock." www.kayak.com)Cons: "Flying from Sydney Australia and this being the final segment, Delta lost my luggage with no explanation as to why. It made it around the world only to get lost on the shortest segment. A real pain after 21 hours of flying to be delayed late at night by airline. No offer for compensation." (Source:

www.kayak.com)Cons: "5hr delay for this flight. The check in back and carry bag cost $105, $35 short of my actual ticket price. The seats were extremely cramped. It was I comfortable sitting between two people rubbing up on you through the entire flight. And this was a brand new plane. So spirit airlines goes expensive but as small as possible. Needless to say going forward I’ll spend the additional $105 that I’d spend on bags and just fly with JetBlue. JetBlue actually gives free snacks during flight. Unlike Spirit who charges. This will be the absolute last time I fly with Spirit Airlines." (Source:

Pros: "Spirit did rebook me with another airline at no extra cost." (Source: www.kayak.com)

Cons: "Flight was delayed/cancelled for some reason. The airline only had one or two people handling hundreds of people at the counter. I arrived st the airport at 5:30AM. A polite staff lady finally changed my flight at 10:30AM." (Source: www.kayak.com)

Cons: "Originally i arrived at the ftlauderdale airport at 4:30 a.m. To find out my flight was canceled and no one contacted me . Then I had to stand in a very long line for them to offer me a flight out the next evening and I would be on stand bye .. not guaranteed a flight once again !!! This was the worse experience I have ever had They refunded my money but I was so upset my phone was not getting reseption and they refused to help me find another flight so I was left to walk to each terminal to see who flew to Atlanta asap .. . And the reason for my travel was because a close friends Mothers passed away . I was unable to get a direct flight with another airlines for a reasonable price until that afternoon I spent money to get to the airport on Uber then to only go home with Uber booked a flight with southwest then ubered back to with Uber . It was just a mess and very frustrating experience!! The next day Spirit airlines was on the news" (Source: www.kayak.com)

Pros: "The base fare. Returning safely. Being put onto another airline." (Source: www.kayak.com)

Cons: "...everything else. Got delayed almost 10 hours with no accommodation. I'm done with this airline" (Source: www.kayak.com)

Cons: "The seats are so close together there is hardly and wiggle room. I wasn't offered any food and the flight attendants were not as polite as my other experiences with other airlines." (Source: www.kayak.com)

Cons: "I bought a round-trip, first leg I didn't had to pay for my luggage but with the same suitcase I had to pay on the second leg. It was misleading the information airline gave me." (Source: www.kayak.com)

www.kayak.com)Cons: "Didn't like the fact that my $100 flight went up 80% to $180 just to add one single bag then another $60 to check in at airport plus another $60 not to sit in back rows. I cancelled flight and took American Airlines for $147 which included everything that Spirit wanted to charge me $300!!!" (Source:

Cons: "The flight was delayed several hours because they were waiting on a flight attendant; an airline should have backup staff to prevent something like this from happening." (Source: www.kayak.com)

www.kayak.com)Pros: "Cabin crew super helpful & friendly. The food was great - all snacks & meals were well prepared and had great flavor, I’m not saying it’s a 5 star restaurant, but I was wasn’t expecting the quality we received. Great job! Impressed by Delta service." (Source:

www.kayak.com)Cons: "The air-conditioning was extremely cold; on the positive side, I was given a blanket. The plane did not have any kind of tv screen in which to watch films or programs. Space was unbelievably tight between seats and rows; I cannot imagine a horizontally or vertically big person having any level of comfort. In general, the service was quite poor, making me wonder how does Delta treat the flight attendants, for they seemed tired and careless. The above did not happen in any of my other flights: Atlanta-Guadalajara, Guadalajara-CDMX, CDMX-Atlanta." (Source:

Pros: "The crew was friendly and accommodating, and service was good" (Source: www.kayak.com)

www.kayak.com)Cons: "At least 12 delay changes due to mechanical failure. Original departure was around 3pm on Sunday then it changed to 830pm, past midnight then 1 pm Monday. The gate staff was not trained to deal with customer service disputes. We were poorly informed about statuses. A food voucher was given to us minutes before any restaurant closed so I couldn't use it. I ended up booking another flight with another carrier. When the after midnight delay notification was rendered, I called the outsourced customer service and received no recourse for my inconvenience. Not even a comp checked bag. I was given two $50 vouchers but I don't plan to ever use them again. I'd rather have my refund plus the difference for the other flight and rental car I took just to get home. I also have lost wages." (Source:

Cons: "The flight was delayed eight hours and when I called to speak to customer service they could not confirm wether or not it was actually late so I had to show up personally to be told my flight was late. I had an important interview that same day and had to cancel my Spirit flight and book a Delta flight. The customer service was useless and apathetic. So frustrated." (Source: www.kayak.com)

www.kayak.com)Cons: "Where do I start? I had a medical emergency in my family and wanted to not fly on that trip but take a future trip. I called what Spirit calls a customer service department (I have other names) to change the flight and in her scripted non empathetic uncaring dispirited way, robotically informed me that the change fee was basically the entire cost of my plane tickets and to 'help' they would provide me $20 per ticket voucher. For lack of a better term, that is such utter bullshit. That plus she told me she couldn't get me to a supervisor after waiting 35 minutes she promised one would call me back in 2 hours time. Not surprisingly that didn't happen. SO instead of getting back only $20 I was basically forced to go on the trip. But my wife stayed behind to take care of the medical emergency. the trip that we were so looking forward to was broken up and ruined due to this airline that hid behind policy rather than do the right thing. Then in Ft Lauderdale waiting to come back it took 1 hour just to check my bags that I had to pay for to make the trip with me. One hour?!!!!! Ridicules by any standard, except maybe Spirit airlines. To add insult, a spirit employee, instead of politely asking people to move the line to a different area and apologize for the inconvenience of 1) being on the long ling and 2) for making us move; chastised us like we were in grammar school for not lining up like she thought we should have lined up. No hint that she cared about us as potential repeat customers who pay her salary. If you don't know by now, there are other low cost alternatives out there. I will use those going forward or pay a full fare on any airline not named Spirit. They showed very little care or desire to see to it that we were taken care of and that they appreciated my hard earned money. Please pass this on to that airline. I would love to hear how they respond to me. They may email me at jyhoub@gmail.com" (Source:
